Will be there all next week on for work. I read recently the BJ was mostly 6/5 so if that is the case then I will not be playing but how about the overall slot selection and the craps sitation? Also would not mind hearing about experiences with how well they comp food charges in general terms.

I last stayed there just after they reopened the Center Bar after the renovations. The BJ conditions on the main floor were awful, but they may have improved slightly... It has been over a year since I last stayed there. I mostly played $100 min with great rules in the high limit area.

The craps dealers were all great. I have no idea about the slots. I had good service from the bartenders while playing the bar top video poker.

In general, I found up front and back end comps to be pretty good. I really like the restaurant line up throughout the property. For they had good BJ rules on the main floor I would stay there more often.

I found the slots to be alright, though I was only there for a couple hours on my last trip. My wife broke even playing Wheel of Fortune so I guess that's better than most of the properties on the strip?

Also, gaming area was DEAD DEAD DEAD on a Monday. I understand nights and weekends aren't as quiet and there's a lot going on. But if you plan on hitting the tables or slots on a weekday, expect a very quiet day.

Anyway I'll be there at the end of next week too and I plan to drop a few hundred at the craps tables, so maybe I'll see you!

I know it has nothing to do with your question, but if you will still be there on Fri or Sat night, look for Lydia Ansel DJ'ing (and playing the electric violin) in the Center Bar. Very entertaining.

Stayed there last year on a Monday - Thursday comp. Casino was dead most of the time. Nothing like it is on the weekends. Usually played craps by myself most of the time. Waitresses were still there, good service and hot as usual!

How much were the table minimums for craps?

During the day the craps tables are $5. Afternoon usually $5 and $10 tables open. Also, great vp pay tables.

It's been many years since I have played their, but on show nights the crowd treats the casino like some kind of club. Big lines at the bar and people standing and chatting in every square foot. I don't even know if the table games were open, I had to claw my way to the door.

I think paperposter summed it up pretty well. The rooms are very decent, the pool is excellent whether you want the party crowd with Rehab or the quieter pools, the restaurant line up is very solid, and the service staff - wait staff, servers, and dealers - are all pretty good IMHO. Back end comps have been good. I cannot speak about the nightclubs. I just wish the gaming conditions were better! You could do a LOT worse for being stuck at a Vegas hotel for work than the Hard Rock.

I recommend Culinary Dropout and the steakhouse for meals. I really like Pink Taco but your mileage may vary.

Table limits were $10 most of the time, early morning you would see $5.

Neither would I. My error. I thought OP was asking about Red Rock, not the Hard Rock. :bang:
Other than using a match play coupon, I wouldn't waste my time in the Hard Rock.

Thought I would add my comps experience. I stayed on a teaser offer in October 2016. I bring ~1K a day for gambling and I only played craps, slots and a small amount of video poker on my trip with probably 3/4 of my play on craps. I don't have my stats handy from that trip but I usually gamble around 6-8 hours per day. I only saw $10 tables during the week but maybe that has changed in the last few months. My current offers are rooms any day of the week, $25 daily slot play and $25 daily food credit. The slot play and food credit can be used up to 4 times a month.

I did not use the pool and there were no concerts when I stayed so I can't review those areas. I ate twice on property; the steakhouse was excellent but a bit overpriced if you are not comped. The other meal was at Mr. Lucky's but I can't tell you much about the meal as it was just filler after drinking my breakfast and lunch.
