So where would you recommend a group of five 21 year old Vegas virgins to have dinner around Fremont street ?? Already planning on the Fremont casino seafood buffet on Friday so trying to decide on our Saturday night dinner. Thanks for any help...

I would consider Triple George, probably the best fine dining downtown without the white table cloths. Please don't go to Tony Roma's, there's good pizza at Four Queens.

Don't overlook some great options in Fremont East:

    • Carson Kitchen is great and lots of fun, perfect for sharing dishes amongst your group.

    • Le Thai is good and a fun place.

    • Bocho sushi in the same building as Carson Kitchen... Nice sushi option.

Back on Fremont proper, I second Triple George Grill and Chicago Brewing Company, mentioned above as pizza at Four Queens. Another great pizza option is Pizza Rock.

If you're looking for something fancy I'd say Andiamo's at the D or Vic & Anthonys at Golden Nugget.

For just a casual place then another vote for 777 Brew Pub and Main Street Station

    1. nacho daddy
    2. Chicago brewing co.
I don't dislike 777 brew pub, but to me it is gonna be just like eating at any sports bar type of chain back home. I more drawn there for the beer than anything else.

At The California Casino...(2) good options; 1st choice to eat: upstairs, 2nd floor, casual place called "Island Specialties", offering Hawaiian type food, beef, chicken bowls, local plate choices of meats (chicken, beef, fish, etc) with the 2-scoop of rice and mac salad, saimin noodle bowls, loco moco, etc. etc... guarantee you will like the food portions and prices, 2nd choice is the main dining cafe/restaurant on the 1st floor; offers Hawaiian type foods and typical diner type food choices. Their specialty is the ox tail soup (11pm-6am).

The best restaurant Downtown by far is Hugo's Cellar at the 4 Queens.

I'd say either Triple George, or Pizza Rock. They're both really good, and simi-informal.

If you're looking for steak/Italian, look at Andiamo at The D. They have both good steaks, and good pasta. Hugo's is more romantic I think. If you want cheap/good, there's Hash-house-a-go-go in the Plaza.
