    I'm staying at MSS this Tuesday and possibly weds ( depends on how long the MMILV party goes on at the Plaza, I also check in Weds at Ballys) to kick off March Madness. I know that they don't have a fitness center. Does anyone know if either Cal or Fremont have 1??

    I usually get in shape at the Boar's Head Bar at MSS! Give it a try.
    Good luck. :beer::beer:

    Actually Cal just opened a new fitness centre very recently. Accessible to Cal and MSS hotel guests.

    There is a nice 24 HR fitness right around the corner. If you are not a member I think you can get a day pass.

    Cal and MSS are twins. And usually share. Fremont would be their red headed step child and probably not. I just booked Cal with an MSS offer, but could not do that with Fremont

    I heard rumor that the CAL was planning on adding a fitness center during their renovations. I know I probably wouldn't use it, but I can see my son taking advantage of it. Any idea of the location?

    You beat me to it! 12oz curls and it works because each time I lift it, it gets lighter!

    If the exercise room at the Cal is anything like their pool they use your room key card for entry, that means if you are staying at MSS you will have to go to the front desk at the Cal to get a room key card for entry. I think if you are staying at the Fremont you can probably use the facilities at the Cal.

    I think the exercise room is on the same floor as the pool but I will get back to you after my visit next month.

    I'm waiting to hear from people that used the fitness room at the Cal to see how it is, otherwise I will be staying at the Cal in about 4 weeks so I will check it out when I get there.

    MSS also has something similar, they have a Laundromat at their RV park and you need a card key from MSS for entry to it.

    According to the key card holder given to me at Fremont in February the Gym is located in the west tower 13th floor at California .

    It's right next to the pool and is already open for business. (The pool is not yet open for business, just the fitness center)

    So what's in the place? Universal machines? Stairmaster or elliptical or treadmills? TV's? Water cooler? Thanks for checking!

    BTW, where can we sit around to enjoy the free wifi at the Cal? Is it available in the upstairs mezzanine between the Cal and MSS? Or do we have to sit in the Cal lobby to use the free wifi? Guess I will be using my laptop to read my emails and get on the web but not sure where I can sit down to do that. Too bad they don't have the free wifi in the rooms.

    I got the free signal on the entire casino floor on the ground level (I didn't try on the Mezzanine level). But it wasn't working when I was there March 1 thru March 5. I got the signal but the connection didn't work. The Cal must be still installing it. And the Cal purposefully isn't providing free wifi in the rooms. If they did no one would come down to the casino to gamble, IMHO.
