Criss Angel's new Mindfreak show stopped 10 minutes in when he had to be rushed to the hospital after straight jacket stunt went wrong. I hadn't heard and just booked tickets for March 22nd so hope he is ok and the show goes on. Oddly, I booked those to replace tickets to see Brad Garrett at his comedy club when he canceled and I requested a refund. We have Rod Stewart tickets too....perhaps I should tell him to be extra careful given my recent streak.

    Hope he is okay.

We had a similar trip in October where 2 of our 3 events/shows got cancelled. One of these was Brad Garret coincidentally.

A few years ago when I took my (the 11 year old) son, they had to stop the show in the first act because of a mishap.

Criss came out and explained that there was an incident and they had to stop because of an injury to one of the set assistants, and that they would start over.

They did, and the show went without incident.

Well the show must be getting better if the injuries have moved from the assistants to Criss :)

Keep in mind that this guy has made a career out of this sort of stuff. would not be shocked if it were staged. Maybe its because his trick to me seem pretty transparent to me. i dont know, hope he is all right but i dont believe.

Easy to just refund to 100 seated guests to create all sort of press to show that there is real danger in his act. Now people are taking about it and want to see it because its actually that dangerous. pretty simple to do the math here, again, transparent.

\David Blaine does the same "sensational" stuff. he is a magician and they are tricks. No sense in limiting the tricks to just the show now is there?
