Just wondering what the success/failure rate is here. I know I have been zonked a few times; it's gotten to the point that I figure I'll play until I empty my wallet or win big, and not worry about it.

I usually go to Las Vegas once a year. All through the year I do an end of the day change and dollar bill dump. By December, I'll have about $1,200 in "free" money. Whatever I come home with is Xmas shopping money. Usually the family is not disappointed

As long as I can get my car out of the airport when I get home, I'm happy.

I must bring more then I am comfortable losing because I always come home with at least half what I bring. Or maybe I have always been lucky enough to hit a hot streak at some point in the trip so I don't go bust.

One twice not big but up almost 2000 first trip. Like Vegas getting its hooks on you. Other time a couple hundred.

Never lost my entire bankroll. But sure tried to.

I know I will likely lose, but I rarely come home with empty pockets.

Same here. In approximately 20 trips to vegas the last 17 years, I've come back with more about 4 times, completely busted 3 times, broke even a few times, and lost around half my bankroll the others.

I stash the parking cash in the car just for that reason.

Second trip to Vegas, we were sitting in front of Caesars people watching, because we had just about enough left to get our car out of the airport back home.

Rarely come home a winner (bankroll plus) , as a matter of fact only once when I hit a straight flush on LIR. After many years of vegas trips, my expectations of winning is nil but I still love coming here. Food and entertainment are now more important to me and has taken a lot from the gambling bankroll and I'm also staying in much nicer hotels.

I've only had one winning trip so far, came back with 85 dollars more than when I started my trip, lol!!

Rest of my trips were losing trips, usually I would come home with two thirds of my bankroll intact. But lately the last 3 trips or so I've come home with less than a third of my bankroll left.

I haven't been doing so great, lately. I noticed I'm betting bigger and swinging for the fences more often, ha! ha!. And my bankroll is the same, didn't get larger so I'd better take it easy this upcoming trip.

I had one winning trip, my last $5 turned into $400 after a hot streak on a $5 roulette table.

The rest I mostly broke even.

Only trip I lost a ton of money was my trip to Tahoe, those slots were tight.

I've been on 5 Vegas trips (6 is next week) and I only came home a winner the very first time I went. Every other freaking time I've lost. The degenerate part of me says "this time has to be different" so maybe THIS time I'll walk out a winner (or at least even!)

I've never came home a winner, closest was a trip where I can home $200 less than what I brought with me. Few times I've brought back about half. Only once did I go completely broke and have to hit up the ATM to survive the last day.

About half our trips to Las Vegas we came home with around 40% of the original bankroll.

We have had trips where we left with less than $50 of our bankroll left, have had two trips where we tapped the banked machines and spent more than we originally budgeted.

No winning trips, but did have two trips where we came pretty close to breaking even.

I don't usually go broke. but it has been a long time since I came home a winner. I think part of the reason for that is... if it is my last night in vegas and I am close to even, I say what the heck and I gamble a little bit more. that is what I came here for. I used to have more winning trips when I played BJ only, and not slots.

Interesting. Since all the Big Wheels went across the street, we don't have people winning $100K every trip they take!

I might be over bank rolled, but usually return with 40-50% of money I take on gambling trips to Vegas or Biloxi. I try to save enough to be able to start my next trip bank. I have had winning trips, but most are about 50% loss.
