Nice pictures, thanks for showing them to us. Yeah, I could never get used to the "pukey" green color at the cabana suites. Also that you can't see anything through the windows, guess it's because there isn't anything worth seeing. I liked the tower rooms because they were big and roomy and had a view outside.

You were lucky to get the super suites. The "deluxe" room they gave me only had that table under the tv. It also had the bed, the big bathroom and closet and that was about it. No couch or the extra roomy area. I swear that my room was less than 14' x 10' and that was including the "big" bathroom which I would guess was probably around 8' x 7'.

You're lucky, nice weather coming out of san fran.

Yeah. Make sure you play Sigma Derby. It's a horse racing game upstairs at the D and it is a riot. Good cocktail service too. Have fun.

That looks good. I was thinking of getting over there when I get into town since they close at midnight.

And, I might have to play some at the Plaza. Got to play some Holy Grail. Nee

    Friday night recap:
-$80 for BP at The D Vue Bar
+$6 for Game of Thrones and Wonka 3RM at GN.
-$85 for Top Dollar in about 10 minutes at GN
-$50 for BP at Omaha Bar at Plaza
Even for 88 Fortunes at Plaza
-$280 for 3 play BP at MSS but had good conversation with Paul from Chicago. Always nice to make a new acquaintance.

I skipped dinner, except for Jack & Diets. After midnight, I did take out from Siegel's to bring back to my room. I got a wedge salad and a cheeseburger with fries. All of it was very good.

Right when I looked out my window this morning there were 6 fighter jet flying low in formation over Nellis AFB. Something you don't see every day.

I don't have a clear plan for today, except for the Neon Museum at noon.

Hoping today with be a "royal" day.

The weather has been beautiful by the way. Clear skies and 70 during the day. No wind.

Only the second time I've been there, but I'm a fan. Last year I just got the happy hour meatballs which were amazing. I was tempted to get the meatball sub yesterday, but I wanted to try something different.

That meal at Oscar's looked yummy. And I like the Cabana suites, especially that green. Lol. I have never stayed in the bigger rooms but it looks really nice. The straight flush is so pretty. Keep it going.

I am very much enjoying your trip report. I laughed out loud at the Aces! Pix are good and varied as is your report, a little bit of everything without too much of anything. That's how it should be if you ask me! Great job thanks!

I told my 6 year old that I'd come back with a tattoo. I got a temporary Celtic Cross on my arm. Of course when I'm relaxing in my room waiting for it to dry, I reach over to grab my computer from my nightstand and smear it all over the pillow. Maybe it's time for my first real tattoo on my next trip.

I was going to go to Therapy for dinner but they were busy on a Saturday night. I ended up at La Comida.

Guava margarita was amazing! Chips and salsa were excellent. I can't remember the name of the dish that I ordered but it was carne asada over a bed of potatoes, green and red bell peppers, onions, topped with a mushroom sauce and cilantro. It came with rice and beans.

No overpowering flavors. Just good food.

I ate at the bar. The bartender, Mario, was super friendly, talkative and seemed like a genuinely nice guy.

I loved the video of the plane landing, I've never seen a video of it before, just photos. That's always really cool when landing in Vegas and seeing the strip! That calzone looked good, but deep fried??? Never heard of that one.....

As far as gambling today, I had another fun run at Money Python at Plaza, feature after feature. One good round of DDB VP at 4Q and came away ahead. One bad round of DDB VP at 4Q and gave back what I'd won earlier. Played Wonka 3RM at 4Q...see video below. It pretty much tells that story.

Maybe the best win of the night were some Rave Lighted Gloves, 2 bottles of water and fruit snacks I got with my Comp points/dollars at 4Q. The lighted gloves are for my 6 year old, not me.
