Ok, I'm not big into designer duds, super expensive purses, etc. BUT I love, love love black pearls. (That and good perfume are probably my only accessory splurges.)

I always wear a lanyard (for my bankroll), but have been looking for a NICE lanyard, which of course, is totally a "vegas-only" purchase.

I found a black pearl lanyard, actual freshwater pearls, nothing fake (I know they're dyed, but still pearls,) and I can't wait to wear it on my next trip!!

Does anyone else have anything frivolous but fun that they've bought only for Vegas? Could be anything, from clothes to flasks to cigar accessories, you name it!

Lol mostly some new clothes and some shoes my wife does same and always buy high end shoe and a purse before the trip lol not always but once a year (since we go least twice) she spends good amount of money on those two thing for sure. But I do admit I like to buy nice clothes and shoes as well.

I have a pencil pouch that I bought to transport my bankroll to Vegas (and my winnings home) in a stealthy manner.
I will post a pic, but you may not be able to see it as it is camouflage.:D

This year I picked up a black velour zip up BCBG sweatshirt, just so I have that Vegas look LOL. About 15 years behind the trend I'm guessing, but hey, it was at Savers and only $6! Actual pics to follow in my trip report...

Funny, but about 10 years ago my kids gave me an Adidas nylon jogging suit, never wore it, but it's still in the closet. I think next time I'm in AC, I'm gonna put it on for sh!ts and giggles.

Vegas is always what forces me to get a comfortable pair of shoes. 10K+ steps/day just one time with bad shoes will cure anyone.

Always a couple new Polo shirts and a pair of shoes. Last trip was two new pair of Air Max...one pair was custom made.

Gonna go shopping this weekend for the MM trip.

Every trip to LV (for years now) I treat myself to a Hugo Boss sports coat. This one is from July 2016. I'll usually do it on the first or second day of my trip so it can get tailored before I leave and so I can wear it at least once while I'm there. Its been a fun tradition for me through the years.

I'll usually get a couple weather-specific items before every trip that I wouldn't buy just for wearing around here (San Francisco, where jeans and hoodies are considered haute couture). Nice sweaters/sweatshirts, a Helly Hansen jacket for winter, nice golf polos for summer.

My last big "splurge-y" buy for Vegas was a pair of $250 Cole Haan shoes for a trip last year. For me, that's shelling out major coin for a clothing purchase.

Thanks Geo, I knew you'd like it if anyone did! Bought it on Etsy, so it was a good price AND handmade, I was tickled. Have a GREAT trip, and remember, do us Slot Slugs proud...I'm counting on you! :D :D :D

Thanks! Kind of a last minute decision. We both need some R & R which Cosmo should provide and then on to a slot tournament at Mirage.

Specifically for Vegas, I spent far more on a pair of swimming shorts than is really sensible...

IMG_1787.JPG I always bought a more "sparkly" outfit than I am normally comfortable wearing. Sometimes I wore it, sometimes it was still a little flashy for me. I have a few unworn still in the closet. Last year I started a digital decorating business. Between customer orders I'm creating some shirts for my next trip using glitter vinyl. Just enough bling for a not so young lady. I screwed up though. I put the dice on a v-neck t-shirt. I can't wear that at the crap table, won't be able to shoot without flashing. Duh. I am working on an ace/jack for the cuff of a 3/4 length button down cotton shirt. Should have swapped those. Will post the cards if it works out.

I also have Kate Spade dice earrings and bracelet with crystals. Super cute.
