So I received an email on Friday at 10:00am est. that says {Make A Midweek Scene} with your exclusive nightly rate of $109 valid on select Sunday-Thursday in March and April. We call tonight and no rooms for this offer left available. So we ask what about your { Commit To Impulse} offer that's is on their website. 20% off your stay. Minimum 2 nights stay required. Must book at least 60 days in advance. Valid for travel now through September 30,2017. Well guess what... Same answer! No rooms available with that offer? We were looking for April 13-17. WOW! Is this common?

Ok I just now received a reservation cancellation email after making the call about these offers? It has a cancellation # ,cancellation date and booking #. Is this something that they do whenever your checking prices? I never actually made a reservation, so am confused that it says reservation was cancelled.

That is really strange. If you still want whatever was cancelled, call back and tell them you did not cancel and to reinstate it. Maybe?

that part sounds like what the Downtown Grand used to do.

I've seen it happen to us with Boyd a lot since we're low on their totem pole.

Just received the same email, which is my first sorta offer from Cosmo since my October stay. I managed to get a stellar [emoji107] $79 midweek rate in my offer.

Guessing they're off of their normal Tuesday room offer cycle? If I got a room offer it came on Tuesday afternoon.

It's becoming harder and harder to get good comps from Cosmo.

I got mine on a,Tuesday, but only free play. First time I never got a room offer. Either they are tightening room comps... or they are filling hotel.

I called for 1 night asked for casino rate [for my trip for my bil] VIP line. Was told I could only get the prevailing rate! No discount!

When I protested a bit saying I always had room offer and consistent play she called a host on duty and he upfront comped the night.

Obviously I am happy but still it seems odd based on my 4+ year relationship with then.

Damn. I've seen a slow down on offers too. I'll give it a couple of weeks. Got a June trip booked but booked at Downtown Grand instead of Cosmo.

I mean in the end I got the comp but I almost lost it when she said it'd be 450 for terrace studio... never been denied a casino rate, anywhere before

I may end up doing that as well. I have an assigned host and a small credit line. But haven't gotten much of anything lately. Only 1000 points short of regaining gold too. Oy vey

I'm still getting pretty great offers from Cosmo. They come usually once a month on the 3rd or 4th Tuesday of the month. My most recent one did drop slightly but its still decent.

Previously I got 4 nights in a Terrace Suite, $485 free play and $100 food credit, no resort fees

    My most recent offered:

4 nights in a Terrace One Bedroom w/premium view, $400 free play, $100 food credit, no resort fees.

My play was not as much as usual on my last trip in November, so I figured that was why the offer was a bit less.

I'm a bit further off than you from gold. I had a host in the start, she left and I was not worthy of a new one.

This is my last trip to try and get it before I really need it next Dec. Taking my niece there and could use the extra room!

I need to scheme a way to get the 1000 before I have about 4000 fall off in the end of April. I have a June trip but by then I'll need 5000 and I may not be staying at Cosmo that trip. If I were, the 5000 would be a slam dunk.

Hmmm.... that's only $200 in spending right? Wonder if you ordered anything form the shops over the phone, gave em identity number to get points?

    Just a thought.

Yep. Just $200 in spending. I've emailed Identity to get an official number.

I have a friend that goes to LV somewhat regularly for work. Too bad they usually check ID even when just earning points. The two free room nights is a valuable benefit.

So $200 in "spend" will earn $10 in comps? damn...also, I don't think "spend" earns "tier" points, does it??

It absolutely does. 5 points per dollar.
