I just got back from a 5 day trip 10 days ago and I'm already thinking of going back next week. I've been dreaming about Vegas for 10 days.

I own a seasonal business so I work 7 days a week from March into October then I have Nov, Dec, Jan, and Feb off, although I do start doing prep work in February. I'm working now trying to get everything ready to open my business on March 1st but I'm thinking maybe I can squeeze in a 3 night trip to Vegas 2/20 to 2/24. I get my room comped and just need to pay for a flight which is only about $100 round trip.

Yeah I'm crazy, my next trip won't be until November and once the season starts I won't have any time for anything except my business.

The only negative here is I need to be in work mode because that is my #1 priority over everything else, but if I can get everything ready this week I'll have some free time. There is no financial issue here I'm just on the fence if I should take one last trip or let the itch go away and get into business mode.

Should I stay or should I go? What would you do?

If you want them to tell you to go, just make sure it's a Catholic Church forum.

comped rooms, $100 flight, what are you waiting for? all you have left to do is post some pics of your big wins! I work 2 jobs, plus a lot of OT, but I manage to get in 3-4 trips per year. the comped / discounted rooms and discounted airfare are always what makes me say "why not?" I have been to vegas 50+ times, never regretted it, not one time.

Comped room might be out as it looks like the Golden Gate might be booked. I may have to pay for a room now, that changes some things........

My business is shaved ice, I don't want to say too much about it because I don't want this thread linked to my business in a google search. I fly Allegiant, it is more than I thought now for this trip so I'm looking at about $160 for the flight, guess I waited too long.

I know how you feel and I agree, it sounds like we are in the same mindset but I did just get back from a 5 day trip there on the 3rd! That was supposed to be my last big trip before I get back to work.

Overall the situation has changed a little, the flight is a bit more and the comped room is not available for that week so I'm looking at about $370 when I include extras like airport parking, wifi etc. It's also raining today so that sets me back on my work schedule. I'm hopefully going to make the final decision today.

I think what is really holding me back here is can I have a good time or am I going to be thinking about work and everything I have to do before opening. Also, the weather will change my schedule so i'm trying to get an Idea of what it's going to be like the first week in March, bad weather delays my opening date and buys me more time. Trying to predict the weather in Texas is nearly impossible, but it's part of my job and probably one of the most stressful parts.

    Current odds on me going
    YES -130
    NO +120
