I haven't been to Vegas in a while. Please tell me there are still Top Dollar Machines in most of the casinos!! They are my favorite. What's yours?

Can someone explain the appeal of the Top Dollar Machines? It seems everyone loves them. I have never played one...

I know most casinos downtown seem to have Top Dollar Machines...

I think you'd be hard pressed to find a casino without a top dollar machine.

I have played them often. They seem to pay out decent - but I actually doubt it is much different that most other machines in the casino. Part of the draw is getting that chance for the novelty of taking an offer, or holding out for more.

By the way, I have gotten some nice hits, but never much on the actual spin itself. Until two months ago and hit the top thing for $10,000. No offers. Just a spin and BANG! Thank you very much!

I enjoy the Top Dollar machines, but didn't spot that many at CET properties over Super Bowl weekend, especially at PHo where we stayed. There were a couple 3 coin $1 machines and one 15 coin $1 machine by the South Elevators that always had people on them and a sprinkling elsewhere.
Harrahs had a bank of multi denomination machines but they were T-I-G-H-T.

I like the old ones better than the new ones.
PH has them as you go in/out the mall via the center.
Paris has them almost under one of the supports of the tower.
Ballys has a few near the HL limit area as well as in the HL area.
Cromwell has them near the back.
