Favorite sushi on the strip?

NOBU, morimoto ,.blue ribbon

 

I've heard that the place at Cosmopolitan has an excellent sushi offering, but I will leave it to Jaidee1 to elaborate . . .

 

Blue Ribbon just closed and Zuma just opened up. I went to Zuma on opening night and thought the sushi offerings at Blue Ribbon were better.

 

We have really enjoyed the sushi at the Bellagio buffet.

Likely not the best in Vegas but works for us, very fresh, and a pretty good selection.

Caveat here.......it has been two years since we ate there but I would assume it is still good.

 

The only place I have been to was Roku Sushi in the forum shops. It was excellent.

 

Foodies will tell you the best Sushi in Las Vegas is off-strip. If you have to stay on the strip, Katsuya at SLS and Yellowtail at Bellagio are both very good.

 

I like the variation in offerings at SushiSamba in the Palazzo, but I'm no connoisseur, and just enjoy the food there.

 

The best I have had was Nobu but will be trying Morimoto in 2 months.

 

Darn.... there's are few Resturant's I'm like yellow tail, japanious, sushi samba ...getting hungry lol

 

few years ago, friend who works in vegas said that, I cant remember the name of the damn place he suggested though


Ive only had sushi on the strip from Nobu at CP, it never disappoints, its fresh, made right in front of you but also expensive.

 

IMO, the best sushi is at Kabuto on Spring Mountain. Omakase FTW.

 

actualy in chinatown off spring mountian u can by fresh sushi slabs., as a local i by salmon , yellow tale and tuna by the pound and bring it home at make it my self. fresh and dirt cheap also a fresh seafood market right in there also

lobsters were 7.99 a 1lb got a 2.5 lobste for 17$ steamed .they steam all seafood fresh.too go

I am always a fan of Nobu, both Hard Rock and Caesars but the prices are high. If you're getting comped or on expense account, Nobu or previously, Blue Ribbon are very good. My favorite in LV is on the 8000 block of Desert Inn Blvd, Sen of Japan. The chefs were from Nobu and I believe the original MGM sushi place. Sen is at least 30% cheaper and you get a more local LV crowd. I was there once when Agassi and Graf came in with their kids. I know, you have to Uber or cab it there, but definitely worth it IMHO.
