I'm going to be in Vegas for SB weekend and am looking for good places to play craps. I'd prefer mins of $5 or $10 so my bankroll can support either pass line with full odds and placing the 6 and 8 or running a 3pt Molly (pass line with odds plus 2 come bets with odds). I've heard good things about craps at Luxor. Any other recommendations on the south part of the strip?

Not on the South side, but I'm all about craps at Cromwell after my December trip. We found a $5 table some nights with 100X odds, but I think the norm is $10.

I would imagine the minimums are going to be jacked up over SB weekend pretty much everywhere on the strip. I was there a few years ago for that weekend and it was pretty crazy. Things were more tame downtown as far as minimums. Good luck and have fun!!!

SB weekend it will be TOUGH to find $5 tables on the strip, day or night. Last year I played $5 craps at the Flamingo during the day, Bally's days and nights (weeknights) and Luxor on a weekday.

Casino Royale is good if you can ever get on the table.

Casino Royale still only has one table too I think so it def will be hard to find a spot.

I'm also going for SB and the last time I went for the SB weekend even the old IP had $25 tables going. I did a double take when walking through bc they didn't even have a $25 professional placard; they had a cardboard sign on one table.

If you do find a $5 table it'll be super early in the morning and at Excal, Luxor or maybe Tropicana. $10-15-25 will be the norm. The Saturday night before and the evening right after the game you'll see a lot of $25-50-100

During Championship weekend most of the places my wife and I walked through had a $10 min. However I would go over to Harrahs in the morning and hit the tables at 5:30am and they had a $5 min. I was staying at the Mirage so not much of a walk.

I'm going to check out Cromwell this trip. Casino Royale's 1 table is always so loaded and I like a little elbow room for craps. Cromwell is across the Strip from Caesar's right?

Cromwell has excellent dealers and the only decent odds on the strip. Short tables are nice to play on. Casino Royale's odds are 3 4 5 and dealers in the past have been nasty. My son was there a year ago and two drunks got in a fight at the table.

I'd be shocked if CR went 3x4x5x

They used to run the 100x and other times it was 20x

Definitely don't try Caesars. I've never even seen a $10 craps table there. I sprayed there in 2009 and all day and night the limits were $25 and up. I saw a $100 table packed with players.

December at the Cosmopolitan the craps table never fell below fifteen dollars in the morning, and I don't even bother checking at night. SB weekend I'd be looking for a seat at the bubble craps machine.

What the hell is the point of going to CR at all if their craps game is 3-4-5? Bizarre. I may blow through for a $1 Michelob, but I won't waste any other time or money there now. This may be the worst news I've ever heard about gaming conditions on the Strip.

I would imagine that the tables would be higher during the first week of march madness, but how about the weeks of the sweet sixteen or the final four???

You know - I wonder this too, just like when Wynncore went to 2x odds. I pretty much exclusively play craps in Vegas and 90% of the people I play with don't understand odds or play correctly. I've played with people who have 10k behind and play a $200 pass line with $100 odds lol. I could see the big casinos moving down from even 3-4-5....what a nightmare that would be.
