Moses4969's Big Game Trip 2/4-2/8 Semi live

Finally...after what seemed like forever, getting this trip started! My 5th visit to vegas but my first time rolling solo. Staying at Elara for the trip. My first time staying there.

Plans include:

Getting my ass to a sports book tonight to get some prop bets in.
Twin Peaks for the Big Game party on Sunday.
Drink, gamble, drink some more. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Also, my wife bought me a nice casino chip cabinet, so I want to collect some $1 chips from various places.

Currently sitting at the gate while southwest gets things going. Apparently not all the luggage has been loaded. Supposed to take off at 1130.

I loved staying at Elara! Easy access to Mirace Mile & PHo, Big Walgreens nearby.

A firm no to the invitation to a timeshare presentation spiel at check-in, but I wasn't bugged for the rest of the trip!
The fellows "checking" the keys at the elevators were very funny, cool guys!

I'm a fan of neither team but I am going with ATL and the under. But I would not be surprised if NE wins. Should be a great game regardless.

Checking in at Elara. $20 sandwich did not work. That's ok. Front desk person was very polite and supposedly gave me a room with a view. Pics incoming shortly

 

While waiting for my room to be ready. Have a drink, they said. Twist my arm...

 

Some pics of the room, per request. It's a nice room. Safe is locked so had to call front desk to send someone up to unlock it.

 

Sorry $ trick didn't work but clearly view looks awesome!!! It seems pretty nice comes with little kitchen not bad at all!!!
