Huggins is kind of a drunk. So him looking beaten down in Vegas should not come as a surprise.

Rolled dice with Russell Westbrook and Kevin Love 2 years ago at the Wynn. Also rode the elevator with Coach K as they were all in town for USA Basketball.
This past December we met Pat Burrell and he proceeded to tell us his entire life story including some real personal shit. The absolute best was the next day when we were standing outside of the Bellagio Sportsbook and my drunk buddy say "Hey it's Greg Louganis". Needless to say Michael Phelps was none to pleased!

Did he talk about aliens living in New Zealand or anything? Christ, I hope Steve Carlton wasn't with him.

Didn't hear about the aliens in New Zealand but if I would of stayed seated next to him very much longer I'm sure that topic would of had a strong chance of conversation.

Elevator with Johnny Chan in the Bellagio. He said hello when I did a double take.

    Dutch!

He's gotten a little far out with some of his tinfoil hat stuff but still love him. The 1993 Phillies were awesome to follow as a 13yr old. Magical season up until that night in Toronto.

    Piss off, Joe Carter.

That must have been quite the locker room with Daulton, Dykstra, Kruk and Schilling.

Oh yeah for sure - the stories that have come out over the years are great. Larry Andersen, Danny Jackson and Mitch Williams were part of that wild group too.

Schilling was not well liked. They called him "red light" bc he was always in front of the cameras. He's not well liked now either.

Really a nice guy... had beers with him & Jim Clancy at Sam's Boat in Houston back in the '89 season... he kept me out of a fight with Clancy (who was supposedly Nolan Ryan's replacement...but was...how should I say this? "Lacking".)
Clancy gave up 15 runs in 8 innings over 3 consecutive starts in May 1989...then, immediately following those three stellar performances, he ran into me at Sam's Boat... I was sort-of intoxicated & gave him a hard time about it... Anderson intervened...walked me away & bought me a beer until both Clancy & I calmed down.

    Fantastic story!

I'm a baseball nut so I remember Clancy! Thanks for sharing, Top.

Andersen is our color analyst on the radio for the Phils and he's great. Him and his partner Scott Franzke are why I usually listen to the game rather than watch.

Saw Dennis Rodman playing BJ at Hard Rock I think it was in the late 90's early 2000's. He yelled at me for snapping a picture with my disposable camera.
Mike Tyson was on the same flight from Phoenix to Vegas. He was in First Class, I was not.

Not a Vegas sighting, but I once shared a flight to Dublin with Janick Gers from Iron Maiden. Had no idea he was on the plane until I spotted him at the baggage carousel. Got a pic with him and then watched him do his thing on stage with the rest of the band the next night!
