Do you play mostly where you stay or do you casino hop?

We do belong to CET and are loyal to them. Like I said we use the casino we are comfortable with to gamble at but still enjoy the food/shows/ amenities of the other properties. We do like to get over to Caesars when at Planet Hollywood or vise-a-verse to do some gaming.......Rick

 

No...if we tally it all up, we play more in the resorts where we are not staying. It's almost as if the downstairs casino is a default if we're slowing down or one-last-shot. Generally we walk around and if we see some tables or slots we like, that's where we stop.

 

I rarely gamble long sessions in the hotel I'm staying at. It's more for time killing quick hits, and maybe one night during the trip. I prefer to walk the strip, ducking into individual casinos along the way. I play minimum stakes everywhere I go, so I'm never hitting anyone's radar for free rooms anyway.

I used to love spending a full night gambling at the Bellagio, regardless of where I stayed, but with 3:2 available right across the street at Bally's for the same minimums, I'm less inclined to devote an evening at the B.

75/25. We move around a lot but I spend a good amount of time gambling at the home base while my wife gets ready/spa/sleeps.

 

If the machines are hitting where I am, I stay. If I start losing and I will go hit another casino. Just got back from Cosmo for 3 days for the slot tourney.. hit on Cleo II within a half hour of getting there.. so needless to say I left the casino for maybe 4 hours hahaha. I wandered over to South Point for a couple hours because that's where I am staying next time (it was nice actually, lots of old favourite games and so much quieter) and then Treasure Island (which was meh to me). I have seen what I need to see on the strip, so I don't really wander and my feet can't take the walk anymore. So as long as the machines aren't eating my money woohoo! I have never had so much fun in Vegas and it was all on their money. So much fun that they gave me a host.. ooops hahahaha. I also found Aria for the first time so I went there for 1/2 hour, it was pretty but I wasn't having fun.
My home casino will generally get my 'wake up, need a smoke, playing in pretty much pjs and no makeup' play (which luckily is 5-6 am their time) and my 'ok I'm tired, no more walking' slot play. Anything in between is wherever feels fun or lucky.

 

Absolutely play where I stay.

BUT we are out a long time, and stay 3+ nights each at 2-3 different hotels....so each one is like a new vacation!

I casino hop!

Generally, I stay at either The Linq or Caesars. I NEVER play at Caesars, so if I stay there I tend to do most of my gambling across the street at Cromwell or down the street at PH. If I'm at The Linq, I'll probably do most of my gambling there, though it's not uncommon for me to stroll down to Harrahs, Cromwell or PH.

I only stay at CET and do 90-95% of my gambling there. I do a bit of gambling at Cosmo each trip and then if MGM casinos have something I'm interested in trying, I'll play there a bit too.

 

I casino hop - mostly MLife properties and Cosmo.

 

If I'm staying on the strip, I'll usually play where I'm staying. But, if I'm downtown, I'll hop around a bit. Maybe 60% where I'm staying.

 

Depends where I'm stopping, If I'm Downtown and stopping at the D I don't gamble much in there. Can never get the vibe and I always end up in Cortez. If I'm stopping at Tuscany then I gamble quite a lot there. I will drift around and mostly gamble in MGM places.

 

Casino hop and play leisurely at will - not chasing comps despite being Gold @ MLife. Chasing comps feels much too like my job and I will not relax if I try to earn points, etc.

 

I only play poker and sportsbook so I do it all at Wynncore. Headed there now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Depends.

I've had trips where I've hopped all over and others where I didn't spend a dime except where I was staying.

Sometimes I feel like spreading my action. I think this SB weekend will be one of those where I will jump around and just have fun

 

99% where I am staying - usually Cosmo or Aria

 

With the exception of when I was (successfully) chasing a progressive royal flush at Luxor, I play no more than 50% at the hotel where I'm staying. During my most recent stay at the Mirage, I played about 40% of my trip's coin-in there. My first stay at Downtown Grand they got 0% of my play.

I used to casino hop a lot but now it's mostly where I stay with a couple visits to other casinos for up to 4 hours.

 

Hop around during the day but end up at Mlife hotel for the night time, even during the day we usually hit the Mlife hotels.

 

Wonder around during the day and bounce around between 2-3 casinos at night.
