MSS for VP, craps & beer...and no resort fee!
...but if you're young and enjoy more of a party atmosphere, then go to 'theD'.
If you want "more sedate" and calm... then Plaza.

I would go with MSS, but since downtown you can walk around everywhere easily, i really dont think it matters, you aren't going to stay and play only in that one place anyway.

i personally like staying at MSS. However, I do go to the D and GN at night since it's so lively. Then wind down back at home base.

That's the good thing about downtown. Everything is within about 10-15 min walk. For me, I stay at The D, but they've always treated me good. But, I did have fun over at MSS when I played craps there last time.

GN has the best pai-gow downtown, second place would be the D. the Fremont has a lousy version, the one at the Plaza is never open or not enough players. the good thing about downtown is the convenience. if you don't like the games at one joint, you can cash out and go to the next place in 5 minutes or less. I wish the downtown Boyd's would offer the same pai-gow game as Orleans and Gold Coast.
