AFC/NFC championship watch parties?

is anywhere having all inclusive for these like they do for the big

 

been several times during afc/nfc championship games, never seen anything specific or special 4 it.

 

Where would you recommend to go. We're looking at blondys

 

I usually watched games at one of the bars at the Orleans, Silverton or SP. Sometimes hard to get a seat, sometimes easy. Depends who was in the game. Usually sports book area was full so I hung out @ bar.

 

Do th sports book offer any prop bets like the Super Bowl, or just standard book betting?

 

I think so, not 100% sure.

 

Saw props for passing yardage under over for each quarterback / over under on running back yardage, total passes attempted and made etc. check at the desk

 

There are quite a few props available as you get closer to game day. They aren't usually posted on the board though, look for a printout from the shelves.

I haven't seen any separate ballroom parties either. Restaurants offer reserved tables for minimum food/alcohol spends. But if you're willing to walk and search a little, you can find a good spot. You can also lurk around as the NFC game ends, many people will leave by mid-1st quarter of the AFC game.

 

We always go for Championship Weekend, so here are my thoughts/tips:

1) Sports books, especially on the strip will all be crowded - Mirage was insane last year. If you're not there real early, you will have a hard time finding a group of seats. We have never done it or looked into the pricing, but some books will have "VIP Seating" you can book ahead of time, which is basically a booth or couch.
2) It's a long time to sit there if you're wanting to watch both games. After the first game things will naturally clear out and then fill back up.
3) Pretty much every casino now has TVs throughout the casino floor, so I've found it preferable to just gamble and watch there.

TIP: I'd place my bets at the casino you're staying at, not necessarily the one you watch the game at.
