    Hey folks,

Whenever I start thinking about how to do anything Vegas-related, I figure I should just skip time fooling around come straight here to the experts. ;)

I've started to build a small chip and card deck collection from some Vegas properties.

I have two collections that I'd like to display in some type of case:

    1) A card and a $1 chip from the 5 casinos knocked off in the original oceans 11. I'd want to display a small photo of the Rat Pack as well. Probably that famous one of them outside the Sands.

    2) Same idea but with the new Oceans. Just 3 casinos. Photo of the ending scene in front of Bellagio.

I have the chips and cards and won't have an issue getting the photo but I want to find the cheapest way to display these.

What I'm seeing on a quick search is stuff like this:

    http://www.fcipoker.com/catalog/item/7203653/7401456.htm

First, I'm struggling to find exactly what I'm describing (spots for a chip, a card and a photo) and second, I'm hoping to spend more like $30-$40 on the display case. I only spent maybe $15 getting the entire collection together. haha

Maybe this is an impossible goal but I was wondering if anyone else has similar displays and how you did it on the cheap. I'm not concerned about having nice materials for it at all.

    Thanks for any tips!

I would go to a local high school / community college industrial technology department. Students are often required to produce products from design to completion and if you knew what you wanted, could sketch a general idea, and provide the materials (students are usually looking for ways to keep costs down and teachers often want to help their students without going out of pocket) I think it possible.
Another possibility is a jewelry store / pawn shop going out of business or upgrading. Although heavy, their display cases can be quite useful and come in a variety of sizes / configurations. Good luck.

Michael's arts and crafts sell various sizes of shadow boxes and they are not expensive. Plus, there's almost always a sale or coupon available.

If you don't have a Michael's near you, I'm pretty sure most craft shops sell them.
