Other than Vegas, where are you going this year

Washington DC in March for a small reunion with former coworkers.

 

Man, we've not been to DC in ages. Ages. But it was one helluva an eating experience (plus all the other stuff).

 

Hawaii in February that flight is booked already. Summer Germany just the dates are not sure yet.

 

Which island(s)? I think this might be a no-Hawaii year for us. Have fun!! And the Fatherland sounds stellar.

I'm hardly a diverse traveler and tend to go to the above places each a couple times a year. All of them are pretty easy to access from Columbus, though. A good chunk of my June-August will be spent in Chicago, which IMO is America's best summer city. The Gold Coast on a sunny summer day just does it for me.

 

March gonna do a couple days in Memphis with the kids

June taking the RV traveling across country to Gettysburg PA, NJ (to see family), then upstate NY (where I grew up).... who knows where we will go along the way. We plan on taking about 3-4 weeks to do it

Sept is my hubby and I annual trip... not sure where we will go went to Puerto Rico last year might do that again

 

No clue. Possibly going to TN for a wedding in the summer but otherwise, I can't settle on anything.

Possibly spring training in Phoenix, or going to Mariner's home opener in Seattle

 

Ten day vacation; renting a condo on one of the Florida Keys.
Flying 250 miles northeast of Fort Smith, Northwest territories, Canada for a 12 day canoe trip.
Weekend trip on Mackinaw Island, Michigan; with a couple of days visiting my parents who have a year round house on the shore of Lake Huron(Saginaw Bay)
Road trip to Northern Idaho to go fishing with my brother.
Calistoga, Ca. for a week to visit my daughter and drink some wine.

 

San Diego for my nephews first birthday.
Tampa.

And of course, AC... just b/c it's pretty close.

 

Germany next week, maybe San Diego in May, Malaysia in July, .....and Veags in November.

 

Namibia/Botswana in May and June, Namibia in July/August, Austria (Styria) in July, US Southwest Tour in September

 

Unfortunately "the dog ate my Vegas", so that's off the agenda. We're down to hiking in North Georgia...a break from the peninsular heat.
