Not much of a gambler but I'll pretend to get free drinks. Where's the best place to blend-in and booze it up?

I suppose if you want to be close to the airport South Point. Cocktail service there has been OK.

It doesn't have to be by the airport. Anywhere I can reach via a free shuttle. Or walk?

Free shuttles are few and far between in Vegas.

If you want cheap, Casino Royale will fit the bill. Don't need to gamble and they have $1 beers there.

It might be a long walk if planning to free drink it until departure. I think south point used to have a shuttle for guests so that could be an option. Good luck just making the flight.

Almost nothing is running at that time. Especially anything free. You might even be hard pressed to find Uber/Lyft, I was going to suggest taking the WAX for $2 but even that didn't seem to run that early.

I can barely keep my eyes open reading this. It is going to be a very long night. You will be dead tired when you arrive at the airport. Do not be overly "boozed up" or so dead tired you look boozed up as you may not be allowed to fly.

We've had a couple of 5am Uber trips, the drivers were happy to see we weren't drinking or drunk.

Hmmm I didn't think of that. Is LAS open 24 hours?

Can I just head there late and catch a few hours on a chair?

Really hate to spend money on a room that I would have to leave at 3:00am. Seems like a total waste (especially since I'm a night owl and wouldn't catch a wink anyway).

Crown & Anchor Pub on E Tropicana.

My brother In-Law stayed there for 36 hours once. Slept on a bench.

I am frugal, but I would not save that $50 on a vacation. Even a 2 hour sleep is still much better than none.

6:00am flight, wow. I would much rather do a red eye. Either one is bad. You could always hang in the sports books. Not sure about free drinks though.

That flight would be perfect for me. I've done 8:30am flights. The time goes quickly while playing though or staying out till clubs till 4am.

Anyway, as mentioned Casino Royale is good. That place behind Cromwell and across the street from Bally's has $1 PBR and $2 hot dogs but I've been told its sketchy at night.

My friend and I were chilling at Casino Royale and there were some waitresses from the Outback steakhouse. He mentioned he had been at the place i mentioned above (I still don't even the actual name of it) the previous night. She said she'd never go there and claimed there was a stabbing there recently (this was in Aug). Friend said he was wondering why they were so diligent with wanding people with the metal detector. Anyway, I've been there in the day with no issues but it scared my friend as he always goes to Casino Royale now.

We often end up pulling an all nighter on our last night in Vegas but though the room goes unslept in, I'm certain our seatmates on the plane appreciate the fact we had a shower (as do we). Money well spent on a room.

    What is "the D"?

Is there anywhere you can pay just to take a shower?

Some airports have that. Will have to see if LAS does. I'm not paying for a room just to take a shower. That's the opposite of frugal imho.

What date / airline are you flying? Seems if there are no crying babies or passengers of "size" in my immediate area we are destined to meet.
