Does anyone know when CET puts out the 2016 win/loss statements? I've been checking but they only have 2015.

Based on this statement from the TR site

"2015 Win/Loss Statements generated before February 1, 2016 may be incomplete and not include all hand-paid jackpots reportable to the IRS on form W2G."

    That's the statement for 2015, so for 2016, I wouldn't expect them before 2/1/2017.

You can generate a 2016 snapshot other ways via website. PM me and I will tell you how.

I checked mine a couple days ago and they are out. The site says 2015 but there is a slot in the drop box for 2016.

And, if you already know you lost more than you won, you do not need them. They are not required to file your taxes. They "might" come in handy if you are audited.

Please wait while we 'Fetch' that info for you...Just me or does that seem a bit off? I think 'Retrieve' is the most common verb to use?
Something I may expect to see from an Outdoors/Hunting store online, but CET?

Thanks for the other thread link, nice trick. At first I could not get the drop down box to change the 2015 to 2016. So I tried the trick and retrieved my 2015, then changed the 2015 to 2016 in the address bar and viola it worked.

BTW, I knew my overall tally for 2016 would be a loss but dang I didn't think it would be that high (lol).

And THAT is why you are better off not looking. I just put my W2g's into Turbotax. Then enter the exact same number on the deduction page. I totally KNOW it is worse than that, but Uncle Sam says that is the limit I can report.
