I'v been on the TR website checking offers for an April trip the last month. Also get the mailers & the email offers constantly. My question is, like everything online, are they tracking my looking at their website & ajusting offers? I'm getting better offers from the emails than the mailers & just logging onto the site. Should I just grab what I think is a good offer now & if I do will the offers decline in value?
I dont think they are that smart and can connect when you are looking online to bait and switch you. For all of CET short comings they still want you on property and gambling. So it would make zero sense to see that you are interested in a stay and then yank or diminish that offer from you. All offers will flux no matter what. They might send out a mailer to 100,000 rated players for a flat offer and once 10,000 players book they will pull back. If a big concert gets announced near a property they might pull back on comps then as well. This happens to me in AC. So if you see an offer you like now, book it. If a better one pops up cancel and book that. Just dont lose your place in line waiting for something better.
The man speaks the truth. I've said it a dozen times and will say it a dozen more: if you see something great, grab it. Especially when it comes to booking online. Prices fluctuate and deals shift, so like he said book it then cancel or switch later if you find something better or change your plans. I've learned my lesson.
Yep, I've canceled and rebooked rooms so many times with CET. Booked an Ultra Hip room in April for 310 bucks. 4 nights: Thur - Monday. You really can't beat that price. Best part, I booked it four times before finally seeing that ultra low price. If they bait and switch the room, I'll be upset but I'm arriving at 11am LOL.
