If you had to pick only one restaurant downtown for a nice dinner (doesn't matter on price or cuisine), which would it be?

Top of Binions has an incredible view, great food, service and a better value than most of vegas.

Believe it or not heart attack grill is a fun "one and done" experience but I would recommend it for drop in lunch vs dinner. With that being said they're opening up (or have already opened) on the strip.

Many good ones downtown. Binions, Hugos, Vic and Anthony, 3 George, Oscars, Redwood, etc. Not counting ones on East Fremont.

good choices. went to triple 7 and top of binions last month, had good meals in both and would return to both. one casual, one more upmarket but both very good for what they are. My best downtown meal was at Triple George. The food was excellent (I had lamb chps, wife had steak). the service was spot on (attentive, informative and prompt without being overbearing) the drinks were good. We were a party of five and not one of us had a single complaint. To top it all the bill was only $60 a head including a 20% tip that we added.
can't go wrong with any of those mentioned.

    Andiamo @ The D

Eaten there multiple times on my last 3 trips, and always had a superb experience.

Triple George, hands down. Horrible meal at Andiamo's, with friends, hugely embarrassed!

Vic and Anthony or Andiamo's if you want high end.

    Lots of great restaurants downtown.

+1 for Top of Binion's. My favorite meal downtown thus far. My wife and I preferred it over Oscar's, which had a slightly higher price point.

As a plus, I ordered a bottle of wine and when the waiter opened it, he casually mentioned "By the way, this wine happens to be half off as we are rotating into a new vintage." Bonus!

I think Hugo's Cellar is the best downtown restaurant I've ever been to but my fave by far is Triple George. Haven't been to top of Binion's yet but from all that I've read and heard about it I'll be sure to go in July when I'm out there.
