Arriving in Vegas one month from tonight and won't be getting in until late evening. Didn't feel like logging what would likely be a low play day at CET so I thought I might actually cash in a MyVegas reward and stay the first night at NYNY.

Anyone stay there lately with all the construction next door? I tend to be an early riser, particularly in Vegas, so as long as it isn't going on all night, I imagine I would be good. I am still Pearl from my stay last year at the Delano so does anyone know if that is enough for the short checkin there or is it Gold? I also have some unused Express Comps so can I just apply them to my hotel charges or even just the resort fee?

Also, any recommendations for a late night dinner and/or early breakfast in the hotel? I assume there is a 24 hour restaurant but can't recall.

Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays!

I was just there a couple of week ago and I don't think there is any construction that is going to bother anybody at NYNY. The TMobile Arena and The Park is between you and the Monte Carlo and that work is all done.

When standing on the platform for the Tram at MC/Aria they were doing some construction right below it but that is the opposite side of the MC from NYNY. I meant to snap some photos but forgot.

If there is work being done behind NYNY I didn't see it.

Here is a photo of NYNY at the Arena the day of the Duke basketball game.

America is the "coffee shop" at nyny, and is open 24hrs. I've always enjoyed eating breakfast there, but haven't been in a few years.

Tom's urban is open until 1am, or 3am Friday and Saturday nights. Have been to toms 5-6 times in the past few years and have always enjoyed it.

You'll need Gold to skip the checkin line, but you can always play dumb if you want with pearl if you book on a comp("invited players")

Express comps for resort fees is apparently a thing, though I haven't tried it before. I'm actually curious if anyone can definitively confirm that based on experience.

The one time I got hit with resort fees, at MC a few years ago, I used express comps to cover them.

I believe Pearl will give you VIP check in..We love breakfast at Il Fornaio. It is a lot of fun sitting on their inside patio watching the world go by. We are always amazed at the outfits people choose to bring on vacation.
We use out MY Vegas rewards for a BOGO at Nine Fine irishmen. They actually give you a $35.00 voucher and we get beer and a couple of appetizers. Hope you have a great time....We are about 5 months away fro our next,,

Was there for Halloween, no issues with noise, didn't have any resort fees so can't answer that, went to Toms Urban for breakfast, amazing food and good portion size for the price! The cafe was reasonable as well, only 'snacked' there but found it quick and reasonable. Hope you have a great trip!

Thanks to all for the information. Have never spent much time in NYNY but lately have found myself liking the casino and location more and more. Guess we'll see how I feel about the rooms and amenities.

If I were to also redeem MV loyalty points to get a room at NYNY, will a resort fee be charged also for just one night? We are staying at Jockey Club the following 7 nights. TY!!

Haven't been to NYNY recently but if you feel it might be a problem ask for something towards Tropicana rather than facing Monte Carlo

I love both the crepes place and the Il Fornaio Due, which sometimes does 2-for-1 breakfast. Great deal if you can get it.

Yes all the MyVegas "comps" still charge the rip-off room fees

You will enjoy the NYNY and get a good nights sleep. Zero construction noise from Monte Carlo now that the new venue is finished (the one where Cher will be).

    I'm at NYNY right now.
Don't see any construction going on here and can't hear Monte Carlo construction.

Did have to wait in line for 1 hr and 20 min last night at check in only to be told they were fully booked and had to send us over to Excalibur for the night.

I'm pretty sure the last time I was at NY NY the VIP line was for "Invited guests and Gold/Platinum". I'm sure Noir could check in there as well but maybe they do so at the hosts office or something. I don't know. But I don't think Pearl gets much love outside of cafe/buffet line jumping.

Very true, but if you're Pearl I think what my point was is that if you booked a comp you could always play dumb under the "invited players" moniker.

Recently booked a comped room at NYNY. I'm pearl, and they told me to use the invited guests line when I check in.
