Winter Should End Right After The Holidays !

    That would be perfect !
    Do Thanksgiving.....
    Ya have a little snow....in December....some cold as the season changes.....
    Do all the Christmas stuff, ( "enter your own holiday - here " ) and
    winter light festivals...snow activities etc....
    New Year's Celebration.
    BANG !!!!
    Okay...we're done !.........Spring Time !

    I see daylight savings is somewhere around the second week in March ?
    January + February are just too loooooooong a stretch.

    It was 84 on th 26th and 81 yesterday. It may have ended early this year.

    what's winter? maybe the couple weeks it might get down in the 40-50's for low here in Florida. I do occasionally wear a hoodie with my shorts

    HaHa - wait 5 minutes and our Texas weather will change...frankly some snow sounds pretty nice.

    I'll be happy to see Jan and Feb gone along with the incessant cedar pollen here in Central Texas (starting to see that purple haze from the exploding pollen) .....oh how I hate Cedar Fever (Mountain cedar/ashe juniper)....

    It does end after the holidays... if you include St Patrick's Day in "holidays". ;)

    And for us in Seattle, winter means gray and rainy. So ours ends after 4th of July as it almost always rains for fireworks.

    That's what I don't miss about the PNW, that you really need to get into July some ways before you can safely retire the umbrella ... until November.
