Good bowl of Pho

Looking for a good Pho Strip, Off Strip or Downtown any suggestions

The place at the Rio isn't too bad, but the best places are in Chinatown - Spring Mountain Road

Lemon grass at Aria was pretty good I thought...also, there's a Chinese Resturant inside the MGM which also have pho which isn't bad either. Bellagio, right outside of Baccarat HL room there's a Chinese Resturant which serves pho but I really didn't care for that one. Out of three mentioned places, I would say lemon grass is far best but it is bit over priced. Around $19 per pho.

 

I Always forget Chinatown

 

I like Da Lat & Pho Bosa.

 

I guess it's just me, but I don't eat an ethnic food at a restaurant that doesn't specialize in that cuisine . . .

I don't eat Pho at other than a Vietnamese restaurant
I don't eat Ramen at other than a Japanese restaurant
I don't eat dim sum at other than a Chinese restaurant
I don't eat bibimbap at other than a Korean restaurant

I guess the analogy would be eating American BBQ. Would you go to eat Texas BBQ in Kansas City?

Then again, that's just prejudicial stereotyping on my part, and it's why I haven't considered eating Pho on the strip at other than a "true" Vietnamese restaurant.

The best BBQ place in KC used to be called Oklahoma Joes, if that says anything

 

not sure exactly what pho is ( need to google it) but I'd think about trying the new Lucky Dragon on Sahara. I walked thru there a cpl of weeks ago and they had a few interesting looking food options.

 

Pho-Vietnamese in TI, they claim it is the only authenticate Vietnamese food on the Strip

 

I hope it's changed since I ate there, because it was the absolute worst bowl of pho I had ever eaten. It was also super expensive, too.

The predominant version is Beef, but chicken is popular as well. I make the beef version at home.

 

Pho Saigon 8 at 5650 spring mountain is by far my favorite I've tried so far in Las Vegas. Da Lat was good, Pho Kim Long also also quite good, haven't tried Bosa yet. I've been to a few others too and all the Pho I've had in various restaurants in that desert inn, spring mountain west of the strip area has been at least pretty good.
