    My Trip Report

Bags are packed, tank is full and I just made a run to the liquor store for some “holiday cheerâ€! We head for the airport in two hours, and while my last three trips have been gambling boondoggles, this one is an actual attempt to enjoy the city with a more well-rounded approach.

Three couples are meeting up for a three-day trip; my gambling buddy and I are Vegas veterans, but our s/o’s, and the third couple have only been a couple of times, one of them not at all. We all arrive tonight around 10pm, and I’ve got a limo lined up to whisk us away, for a strip tour – that’s what the liquor run was for: champagne corks will be a-poppin’!

We all have reservations at MGM, but we got that pesky free room offer from Wynn a couple weeks ago, so rather than let it go to waste, two of the ladies will be taking advantage tonight (boys gotta hit the casino!), and will return back to MGM tomorrow. We’ll be touring the strip for all the newbies on Friday, and we have tentative plans to see Avenue Q tomorrow (which is a conflict with the T2V meet, but the show really depends on how we do in the casino). Then it’s on to Mesa Grill for dinner and Foundation Room for late-night fun. :drunk:

On Saturday morning, the ladies are in the MGM Spa for facials and massages, then off for an afternoon shopping spree at Caesars and Aladdin. The boys will continue to ravage the casino (yeah, right!), breaking to use the MGM dining credit at the Grand Wok for lunch. We’re reserved at Mon Ami for dinner at 7p, guestlisted at Teatro for pre-show cocktails, KA at 10:30p and finish off with reservations at Tabu afterward. At least that’s the plan until we lose our shirts 15 minutes into the trip!:eek2

    Full report on the flip-side.:peace:
