Just checking to see if anyone knows if the LVA $50 comp still works with Stations taking over. It is listed in the 2017 LVA so it seems strange if they offer it in their new booklet and it cannot be honored.

With that said - if it still works...can you charge items to the room to max out that 50% up to $50? Room rates are fairly low in January (heck the Ivory Suite is only $89 before tax).

Finally - overall, how are comps at Palms? Never have played a Station casino, so it would be a first time sign up and then play the one or two days I stay. I know others tease offers for newer players but I heard Stations is lackluster for non locals?

    Thanks in advance!

When I have used the coupon in the past I've used it towards my bill at check out or at any of the restaraunts if I didn't charge it to the room. We are going to N9NE on Thursday so I'll let you know.

Haven't stayed at the Palms in some time but we weren't high rollers at all and would get decent deals. Can't remember them though off the top of my head though.

If it's in the MRB, I'm sure it will be honored. Stations or I should say Red Rock Resorts, had plenty of time to cancel it after beginning the purchase. Not sure if it can be applied to room charges. I think it is limited to a single purchase such as the room rate or a single restaurant purchase. Might want to call LVA and ask for clarification on both points.

    Good Luck!

I mostly play at Stations, and get a lot of offers from them - more than I can use (and I'm not a local.)

I'm very happy - and surprised - that it was renewed with the Stations takeover. They did say at the time it would continue to be operated as a seperate entity rather than being merged in with corporate, so I guess they were true to their word. Stations has always had a good relationship with LVA.

Just an FYI - tried to use this several years back in combination with an online room deal and it was disallowed. I find the easiest thing to do is choose a restaurant and use it there. Max the thing out. Always ask the maitre d' first if not using at a more casual place (buffet, their Chinese place).

I've had a couple of conversations with the hotel manager since the takeover. and he said any changes at the Palms would come slowly and there probably wouldn't be anything major, at least for awhile. I' stayed there twice last year and like the place overall, I'm very interested to see what they will do with the place. It's certainly not as lively as in past years but personally I like that. I like a casino that isn't wall to wall people :)

Yeah but they wiped out all of our points with the merger and we had no recourse. It hasn't been the same since George Maloof owned it. I have a feeling that N9NE, Aliaze (sp?) and Nove will all be gone within 2 years. Stations doesn't like outside groups doing things...

I agree with you, blkshirt. It's a shadow of its former self without Maloof.

Have they started using the Stations Card and points?

    Thanks,

We weren't allowed to use it to pay part of the room bill last April. We were told it couldn't be used in conjunction with email offers.
