Traveling Solo food lover...where to dine?

Where to dine! Ignore typo. Any suggestions?

 

Some of my favorites are

Le Thai downtown
Noodles Express Gold Coast
Hash Hash The Linq
Raku(sashimi) --Spring Mountain Road
Vic and Anthony's downtown

Not knowing your price range or preferences these are a few of my favorite solo spots

 

Only here for a couple of days, so I am more interested in feasting on locally-available, great food, than worrying about a budget. When you say downtown, I am guessing you aren't referencing the strip?

 

Staying at Marriott Grand Chateau, just across the strip from Aria/Belagio. Did not rent a car for this short trip. Love all types of food, and like trying the foods rated the best by locals.

Le Thai is worth the uber downtown imo

Numerous 4*-5* restaurants of every genre within 10 minutes of Grand Chateau

 

...oh, oh, oh! Dim Sum definitely on the menu for brunch, ..who am I kidding..., LUNCH, when I drag out of bed tomorrow! Have been recently craving Dim Sum! Still going through the thread. Thank you, again! Have to still find dinner tonight after 9pm stand-up comedy set.

 

Hey, super-unleaded, are the downtown restaurants generally open as late as the ones on the strip? I am, at heart, a serious night owl, and this is one of the few cities that understands my internal clock.

 

Bouchon at Venezia
Table 34 -- locals' joint, near the airport
Marche Bacchus -- locals' place, long haul out to the nw side of town but a real treat
Chicago Joe's -- downtown, go for lunch

 

For good stuff nearby, I'd recommend Sage, Julian Serrano and Bardot at Aria and Prime and Le Cirque at Bellagio.

Oh, and lunch at Milos (Cosmo).

I have absolutely no idea how to gamble at the tables. I wander aimlessly through the casinos, trying to get close enough to the action to pick up a clue or two, but am always worried I will freak people out by standing too close, behind them, etc. So when I travel to this wonderful city of borrowed happiness, my vice is food.
