:wiggle::wiggle:Good morning members and Merry Christmas....
I want you a share little story I just saw on TV news...

Couple days ago... police found a car seating on Walmart parking lot for hours(running on & off) police men thought was bit odd and hen they looked inside they saw lady with four kids sleeping in the car.

It turns out she has been evicted from her house (single mom) with 4 kids all less than 10 years old. Anyhow
Police officers couldn't let it go...so two officers gave her money so family can spend next few nights inside the motel; that night as mom checked in motel more police officers stopped by and gave her cash and gifts so she could stay more than a week (plus Christmas tree) this way kids can get up open up little presents tomorrow morning. (All these small miracle happen less than $500, so news reported) I was also moved by police officers did it without asking why and not judging her.

As I was watching the news I realized I didn't really do anything this year to creat/help miracle at all... so I pledge in 2017 or even remaining of this year I WILL FIND AND HELP WHOMEVER IN NEEDS WITHOUT ASKING WHY AND MAKING JUDGEMENT CALL. Just simply help out in anyway I can... meanwhile
Merry Christmas my friends... from a friend who loves you guys very much!!!! :wiggle::woohoo:

Way to go, Drew! :santa: Merry Christmas!
I'm sure there's a lot of similar stories out there that go untold or unnoticed, everyday heroes from the men and women in blue--and others, too...
Nice to hear that some good news actually made the news!

One of the reason why I got touched yet felt embarrassed was I bet $500 easily on the game..... yet that amount could easily create miracle ...imagine that

Well here's an quick update; today we (wifey and I) visited local MGM casino and as I'm waiting for my coffee etc at cafe
Shop there were elderly couple behind me placing order as they are placing order I can hear them speaking (whispering almost to each other) saying just order one sandwich and one drink; first they wanted to two sandwiches & drinks but once bill was gonna be around $22, it sounded like they didn't had enough "comps" and didn't seem to have "extra cash" (I think they wanted to conserve cash) so I told counter lady I will pay with my card (comps) and told her give them 2 cookies of 5 different flavor, 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks, that couple looked at me like I was crazy (lol seriously) but I told them it was my pleasure and paid for it (to see elderly couple still doing things together reminded me how I should appreciate my wife little more) and yes it me feel little better top of that it made me I paid with my express comps so it was no problem lol.

I know this is just small little act compare to what truly needs GET DONE like helping real family in needs but just knowing that I made elderly couple smile put me in better moods and put even a bigger smile on my face!!!

I LOVE this Drew!!!!! I always love reading acts of "pay it forward," where someone picks up the tab for a total stranger. I'm a huge believer in fact that kindness and meanness are both infectious...pick the one you want to spread.

It's funny, but when you look at life's pleasures, we can get desensitized. Food has to get better and better to taste as good, events have to be more and more extreme to impress us...but the one piece of pleasure that NEVER seems to fade/desensitize, is the joy you feel when you make someone's day a little bit better.

Thank you so much for sharing, this made my night, and it shows youre already sticking to your word on making 2017 your "taking care of others" this year.

Big or small, doing a kindness for a stranger is huge in my book, keep it going!!!!!

That's the irony, meanness/jealousy make you focus on what you don't have, kindness makes you appreciate what you DO have. May 2017 be your best year yet! :D

We'd never let you pick up a dinner tab, but the offer means a ton, and yes, sometime all of our schedules will match and we'll all meet up. The number of trips you, Geogran and I take to Vegas, we'll all be there the same time eventually, and we would love to meet you and your family.

Until then, have a magical trip Drew, enjoy Bruno and your birthday bash for your kids, and again, kudos Drew, this story about the elderly couple made my night.

P.S. Looking forward to a trip report if you have time, have a BLAST!

IMG_0336.JPG IMG_0081.JPG IMG_0350.JPG Hello friends, I have an update regards to my commitment for this subject - about week ago we made our trip to Vegas to celebrate my daughters birthday. Anyhow, on Saturday night there were Bruno Mars concert along with PAC 12 college championship basketball game which I had both tix and it turns out I had 2 extra tips for PAC tix and as my son and his friends went to the game (we walked them to T-Mobile center) and by the door I see two mid teenagers wanting to buy tix and looks like they were short on cash; they were trying to buy it from couple of vendors I think they had less than $100 (l can hear them haggling) so instead of me and my friend going to game I decided to give to two kids and when I did...the look on those kids faces were priceless; like looked at me "what are you doing?" "Why are you giving it to me?" And I just said "when you are older and see someone in needs for whatever reason and if you can help out just do it" and they gave me glance and tried to give me like $70 (lol, I thought it was cute) I said just spend the money to buy them self something eat. Then I left..... of course those kids kept in saying "thank you sir!!"
Besides, I rather go play Baccarat at MGM anyways lol. It was win win situation besides my wife hit a major progressive on Fourtune 88 $1053. ; here are some few pictures my wife's small jackpot, Bruno mars tix &a PAC 12 tix view from my sons seat. !!! Good deed does pay off

I absolutely LOVE this Drew. I also love that you planted the seed of "when you are older and see someone in needs for whatever reason and if you can help out just do it."

I really love that you added this, as kids DO listen.

This made my whole week, and I am sure, their whole year. Thank you for sharing with Them, and with us!

Ps, also impressed the kids called you "sir". Maybe they are baby Drews in the making, like Richard said, class act!
