i have received an invite to the Super Bowl party at Harrahs. 3 free nights, tickets for admission to the party, free gift, etc problem is we are staying at Rio. Can I go to ticket distribution and get tickets to the Harrahs party if not staying there?
I don't think so. We called and asked that very question; could we stay somewhere else (Paris) and attend the SB party at Harrah's (Yuck!). They said NO. It's a property specific offer. Maybe you'll have better luck.
I would talk to a host, especially if you're willing to have your room moved over to Harrah's. I think a host can easily move your reservation over to Harrah's under the code for the SB party. If you like a slightly larger room, ask for the very last room in the Mardi Gras tower. It's right next to the Carnival tower elevators (the towers connect on each floor) Easy out to the parking garage with the Carnival tower elevators and easy out to the casino with the Mardi Gras elevators. I love this room. Strange size as it's the end of the hallway and tied to the tower connector.
I don't really want to stay there. BTW Harrahs Laughlin also sent me an invite, theirs included a free duffle bag and a bottle of Jack Daniels
We got that same invite from Laughlin and are seriously considering it if a better offer doesn't come along. We're booked for RR with no SB party offer but we're still hoping.
We've thought about doing the Laughlin deal but not sure. So far plans are 3 nights at Rio, 1 at Aria then last night Laughlin. I want to hit Oatman on way back to Vegas
Not sure why you want to stay off strip? Every year we stay at Ballys and go to the VIP SB party at Paris. No problem.
They haven't announced a start date for paid self parking. Theres a chance self parking will still be free. But i woukd call Rio and see if you can get in on their party. There are some events where you would stay at a choice of hotel for an event at another but this may not be one..
So when you go to the Harrah's SB party you are going to take the shuttle?? I believe parking is free for Platinum and higher?
That was the plan. Don't think we'll be let in. I have a buddy that works at a place in Circus Circus so that may be another option. Like my brother said, there's shit going on everywhere in town
i received an invite from the flamingo for a game day party for afc/nfc championship games weekend of january 20-23. with this offer, i had the choice of several different properties to stay at but could still attend the game day party. not a week after i booked the weekend, i got a similar offer for superbowl party but had already made arrangements with some friends for that championship weekend and would have been a nightmare for everyone to rebook. has anyone attended one of these before? i'm assuming it's in a showroom or conference room. any idea what type of food they will provide, drinks? and what the game day prizes are? none of this is actually a big deal for me, i just wanted to make sure i had a place to watch games. hope my kansas city chiefs are playing!! todd
