Looks good. My first concern in evaluation of the MRB is to see if the free/match play offers will cover the cost of the book. Accept in rare cases, this shouldn't be a problem...so the book pays for itself.
I LOVE having a couple of days of running around town popping in and out of casinos playing off these coupons and the ACG coupons. Then, on top of all that, I get to use 50% off meal coupons all over the place.
The book looks good this year.

Very VERY happy - on the food side, they kept Caesars buffet in (only way i'd go there), they ADDED 2 for 1 at Cosmo buffet, Freedom Beat at Downtown Grand. on the gambling side, they kept Orleans, Plaza, Binions, Ellis Island, Downtown Grand, Hooters, El Cortez, Four Queens, and Gold Coast slot plays. I'll need to see if they eliminated anything i really care about but yeah - way to go LVA!

Another excellent year for the MRB - the Cosmo buffet coupon is gonna be a hot item for trades....

I assume the coupon is good at either the ellis island café or the various village pub locations

The Cafe in Ellis Island was recently renamed Village Pub. The LVA coupon is only good at the Ellis Island location.

Thanks for the clarification. The Ellis Island website still lists the restaurant as the café and shows the Ellis Island Café menu.

I do not think there has been any change in the menu, just the name. I picked up the change on the casino's Facebook page, but now I cannot relocate it. I wonder if they rethought the change?

I found the post and confirmed the change with Christina Ellis (daughter?) who is listed as Director of Marketing. Here is what was posted on the Ellis facebook page Dec 9th:

"In 1968, we first opened our doors as the Village Pub - a locals' bar that sat where our karaoke lounge sits today. In 1985 we added the casino, and we changed our name to Ellis Island. This week, we changed the name of our Café back to Village Pub, paying homage to the little bar that started it all!"

    New sign over entrance

Here is what I was referring to. Not just the menu items, but the name on the menu. Usually when a restaurant changes names, they update everything to the new name, I will assume new menus are on the way.
