I second the  for the prime rib dinner at the Market St. Café for $9.99. Great price, good prime rib and the all you can eat salad bar is enough to fill you up. Then you get the cherries jubilee for dessert to top it all off.

Another thing I like there is the oxtail soup. I always try to eat both whenever I'm in vegas.

I have not stayed at the Plaza, and stopped staying at the 4Q when I got crumby rooms in the north tower on my comps. I, too, find the rooms at MSS plenty spacious and love the beds! Quick walk to Fremont thru the Cal. Doesn't seem to take alot of gambling for room comps.
It seems that there is a different hotel that everyone enjoys for various reasons downtown.

We always go to MSS for their Buffet, but have never gambled their maybe it's time see what kind of comps we get. And have never eaten at the Market Street Cafe in the cal. After hearing all the good things about their prime rib dinner I will definitely be checking that out.

Plaza has a great Super Bowl party, and if you don't want to do that the sportsbook is spacious enough that seats are not impossible for Super Bowl. It's a fun weekend to be in town.... Enjoy

It has been a couple years but it was stadium food last time I went. My recollection is 6 foot subs, hot dogs and brats, chicken strips, nachos, veggie trays, cookies and an Open Bar. I'm sure I am missing some food items. They have a William Hill outlet in the room, giveaways, and contests. I had fun

The Cabana Suites at El Cortez are nice and quieter then staying right on Freemont. The Four Queens price wise is fairly good compared to the others. FSE can be quite noisy from the afternoon on until late in the morning, so if you are facing the FSE depending on when you want to sleep it can be a little trying to say the least.
