Was going to buy a few to use in Jan... But they all expire 12/31. Anyone have an idea when that will update?

Certainly don't know for sure but, many replacements tend to occur right at or just after expirations.

Not a great situation for someone going in January.

You can buy a 2017 ACG book today and get your Jan 2017 buffets. Also, LVA will be available end of Dec. You can pick it up at their office if you are going before the mailing.

Believe OP is talking about MyVegas. As said above, they will come out soon for next year.

Where does it say use before 12/31?

I purchased an MGM breakfast buffet the other day and I don't see that terminology anywhere.

On the first screen after you select the reward (with the next button in lower, right corner) there will be a section for reward discription, redemption period, and redemption instructions. For the MGM buffets, some have a must be redeemed by Dec. 31, 2016, some have a 90 day redemption period.

Ah, I see. Going through the various MLife buffets it looks like Mandalay Bay is the only one with the Dec. 30 deadline, all others seem to be 90 days.

This is the time of year when they usually refresh most of the rewards with new blackout dates for the next year... so it shouldn't be too long till they get updated.

EDIT: Upon further analysis, it looks like the ones that must be redeemed by Dec. 30 are the more expensive ones that don't require a 1-night MGM property stay.

Even if it says expire Dec 31st, i've noticed a lot of them are blacked out between Dec 22 to Dec 31.

I'm starting to wonder if they're planning on doing away with the buffets that don't require a one night stay. I've always been able to get mine in December for my February trips.

I hope they aren't doing away with the free buffets. There won't be much point in playing if they do at least for me.

Do the ones you got require a one night stay? All the ones I looked at that did not require a one night stay expired at the end of December.

Some of the buffet rewards are disappearing... I think they're updating them for 2017. It's a slow process. Should take a few days for them to all come back (if they're all going to come back...).

I'm not seeing that. Everything I look at expires on 1/1/17 or 12/30.
