Getting ready to board out flight soon. Spirit flight only delayed 16 minutes. Big win right there. One of my first orders of business is to cash these chips my wife forgot she had in her purse from our trip in July.

Successful landing! Although we arrived 90 minutes late, and I didn't get much sleep on the plane. Good news is, the taxi driver DID in fact take the best route to Paris. Going to check in and get into a poker game. Currently 5 1/2 NL games going next door at PH.

It is rare when prices go down, but I wasn't impressed with the Varsity myself ("Whadda ya have!"). I miss having some good beer at Taco Mac though.

    Good luck on the trip!

So, was it Varsity at ATL and In-N-Out first thing in Vegas? You guys are such true "foodies"!
(Can't beat the original Varsity near Georgia Tech though)
I may run into your posse Tuesday night on my first solo night. If I see a group of guys getting thrown into "public", from Casino Royale, I'll know it's ya'll, probably after hitting up White Castle

We actually went with a Philly cheesesteak from Charley's. We were so late getting in, and not all that hungry, that In n Out didn't get done.

At checkin there was no (Ron) Burgundy room available for the first night, and we would have to be in a Red Room (downgrade). However we would be able to change rooms for the final 2 nights. Since room is comped and I plan on being in it less than 8 hours total, we decided to just stay in the Red Room.

45 minutes of poker and blew through my first $200. Hands of note: 2nd hand of session I have AQ in small blind. I call a raise to $12. Flop is A9Q all clubs. He bets $20, I call. Turn is 9spades. I bet $25. He pushes all in. Thought a couple minutes and finally folded. Not many hands he pushes with that I actually beat.

Few hands later I have A10 and raise to 12. One caller to my immediate right. Flop is AK7. He checks, I check for some reason. Turn is K. He bets 40, I fold.

Forget the details of another hand but I had JJ and called a couple of bets. Gets to showdown and he hit trips on the river to beat my JJ.

Funny, my trip to Harrah's Cherokee a couple of weeks ago I got absolutely ZERO good hands for 3 hours and lost $30. Those 3 hands were better than any that I saw in Cherokee. But I lose big with the decent starting hands.

Wade showering up and we are going to uber downtown and finally try the pancakes at Dupar's.

Today will have more thrills....as we will be drinking many many beverages. Plan is dinner at Ellis Island right now but who the hell knows. Cheers guys!

Wade lost a quick $135 at Craps at the Paris last night, but righted the ship with a break-even performance at VP with a whopping $5.

Time to kick back and relax at Boar's Head Bar and watch Tulsa/C. Michigan. Wade needs Tulsa to cover the 13.5 as well as cover the 7 at halftime. [IMG]

Tell me about it, 100 flights a year out of this airport for me!! Thank God for Sky Priority, but International has always been a great idea, as long as you are not checking bags.

Believe it or not, Wade just told me that's the exact reason he bet on them!
