F-I-L wants to find a non-buffet steak and eggs for breakfast for around $20 (more if unlimited mismosas!), doing some research and I'm not finding much. Mon Ami Gabi has an offer for $28.99. I don't need cheap $1.99 deals off strip nor do I need a A5 Kobe Filet. Any recommendations?

You might try the Cafe at Bellagio. That comes to mind immediately.

Best bet I think will be the 24 hour cafes in each casino. Grand Lux in Venetian comes to mind. Their menu says $19.95 for steak and eggs. Beyond 24 hour cafes, Cabo wabo cantina by miracle mile shops says $14.99 and guy fieris by the Linq says $23. At Paris, cafe Ill St. Louis has steak and eggs for $19. There should be enough options with those cafes in each casino for your FIl.

Ellis Island a block behind Bally's has steak & egg breakfast for under $10 & their food is good. They also have good vanilla French toast that many in our party get each trip. It is a locals place....kind of a dive if you are used to the 5 star places but their food is a great bargain.

Ellis Island is where I go...right behind Bally's. Great food, great price, poor atmosphere. But if you're trying to impress your F-I-L you might want to skip it and have your steak at a more 'refined' place. I know my uppity sister would NEVER eat there. I love it.

If he's looking for a "frugal " steak under $20 I don't think he's to worried about impressing the FIL,, I'd go with Ellis Island or find a Groupon at a value restaurant

Agree with EI! Under $10 for the steak and eggs, maybe slightly over if you add coffee. Other suggestions for the non steak crew... chicken fried chicken and the French toast.

Planet Dailies at Planet Hollywood has a pretty decent steak and egg for $8.99 as their special.

The 'chicken fried chicken and eggs' is just about the best breakfast I've ever had. Full chicken breast dipped in their own batter and fried up...crispy and juicy. Just great!

They have specials that are not on the menu. Ask the server, the steak is smaller but good and when I wrote my first replay could not remember the cost. They have a prime rib special nightly also for $12.95 (I believe).............Rick

The two best steak and eggs deals in town are right around the corner from each other.....Ellis Island or Marilyns Cafe at The Tuscany. Both are under $10 and a steal at that price!

Marilyn's Cafe at Tuscany is indeed good but I don't remember having steak and eggs there personally.

Actually, in the last year Ellis Island has really spiffed up the atmosphere, both in the the casino and especially in the restaurant. The corny (but awesome) paintings of sea battles are all gone, for instance. It's a more "modern" (i.e., boring but clean) look. And the steak and eggs special is phenomenal. I think it's up to $6.99 or $7.99 before 10 am. We go there just about every day of the trip for it.

As others were saying, be sure to check into your hotels offerings! I'm currently at the luxor and while I did research, I couldn't find a menu with prices. Turns out it's $16.99 here at the Pyramid Cafe. Now I'm sure better options exist (Hexx at Paris has a PRIME offering which is supposedly "affordable") but its just the convenience of it makes this my top choice.

I've had steak and eggs there several times. It's pretty good.
