I thought I once came across a recent article about the PH rooms being updated.
Does anyone remember one or could it be Paris I am thinking of?
If PH has been updated, which rooms? Were any the Resort Vista?

Ultra Hip rooms are the recently remodeled ones. I'm in one right now.

Thanks for the pics, I'll be in one of these in a week. Pretty small window, huh. Do you have a Fountain View?

Yeah, window is small. They try to hide that fact in the online pictures.

Yes, we do have a fountain view. And it is great.

Thanks again for the pics! Really looking forward to that view/room in a week. Could have had a room at Caesars Palace comped instead but didn't want a view of the side of another tower. You're in the North tower at PH?

New carpeting in hallways finally. Shower seems new. Slightly lighter in room.Things to work on: toilet seat needs replacing. What is that? $5? Bathroom mirrors LOOK nice, but aren't functional. The lights are BEHIND mirror. Hello! I like to see my face when I shave. Buttons in elevators still need replacing.

I wouldn't hesitate to suggest PH now if you get Ultra room.

Does anyone know the progress that's been made renovating the Panorama Suites?

On our stay in Sept we had an Ultra Hip room and that was our only complaint was the bathroom lighting. The light fixtures are more form over function. I talked with one of the maintenance men one day on the elevator and mentioned the bathroom lighting and he said they were going to be changing to something different. I agree Ultra Hip are a huge improvement over the old Hollywood Hip.

We are wondering about the Panorama Suites also. We have been in them 3 times and have not had a renovated one yet and are booked in one in a couple of weeks. The rooms are getting really worn but it is one of the best we have stayed in and having the New Years room renovated would be a bonus...............Rick

Even the hallways are nice and bright on the renovated floors. I've heard they're doing all of the rooms.

They have renovated some of those as well. They are mostly white furniture now.
