    My Trip Report

Traveled to our favorite city for 7 nights, with a combined fun + tech conference (AWS Re:invent) agenda.

My hotel schedule ended up on Caesar's for 2 nights, Palazzo for 4, and Cosmo for 1. I had originally planned for Encore-Palazzo-Cosmo, but got Caesar's Palace Tower for 'free', so figured I'd save $300 vs. staying @ Encore.

Don't have the energy this afternoon to write full paragraphs, so thought I'd do some highlights.

Caesar's Palace Tower == Good, because of room quality, location, and 'free'. Points deducted for smoky casino
Smashed Pig for dinner == Awesome, because of beer selection, meet+cheese platter, and charming bar tender
Golden Gate bartop VP == Good, because of music, not horrible Bonus Deluxe paytable, and drink service
Caesar's sports book reserved seat == Good, because $100 + 3 free drinks is not a horrible price to pay for a relaxing NFL Sunday
Seersucker happy hour == Excellent, because of duck fat fries + prosciutto dust
Palazzo "normal" suite == Awesome, because room quality, sectional sofa, and location
Yardbird == Awesome, because excellent service, biscuits, fried chicken, and peach cobbler
Bouchon Bakery == Excellent, because of coffee and pastries
Julian Serrano == Excellent, because of food and service quality
Border Grill (Forum Shops) == Awesome, because of Tiger Shrimp tacos
Tom's Urban == Excellent, because of beer selection and food choices
Golden Gate Blackjack tables == Awesome, because of 3/2, music, dealers, and introducing co-workers to Fremont Street. Don't know why I play table games anywhere else, actually
Cosmopolitan == Awesome, because of free upgrade to fountain view, room quality, and location
Wicked Spoon == Tasty, especially when you can't decide what to eat. Desserts were meh.
Cosmo Sports Book bartop VP == Fun, especially when the free drink tickets keep spitting out

55 days to go until my next trip. Can't wait!

Nice summary! I wish I was better at doing that myself!

But the BP paytable at Golden Gate wasn't bad? I thought they had the same paytables as the D long bar, which includes 10/8/5/3/1/1 Bonus = 94.18%.

    You sure you didn't mean 7/5 ACE$ Bonus (98.25%), or 8/6 Bonus Deluxe (98.49%)?

Yep, sorry it was Bonus Deluxe, not BP. Wasn't thinking too clearly by the time I got there that night:beer:

Glad someone (not a slam) found 100$'and 3 free drinks worth it for an nfl afternoon. Give me another 50 and that is my Sunday bet total. But I knew someone would be the target audience....just knew it wasn't me. Haha. This is why player card levels work so well. Separation of the masses.

I was hoping to do football central @ westgate, but after they ended that, I figured $100 wasn't too much to pay for a guaranteed comfortable seat for the entire day.

I also figure it saved me at least $200 by keeping me away from the video poker bar(s).
