These valet parking fees is sure a problem for someone with mobility problems. Theres no way I can walk from the self parking garages so I always valet. I guess I will have to stop visiting the casinos with these charges it would cost me a fortune!

Unfortunately, the sad part is you will have to stop visiting the strip casinos, because they will all be charging for valet parking shortly.

One the good side, (somebody correct me if I'm wrong about this) you will only need to pay once for mLife, as I believe tha tif you pay once during the day and keep your ticket, they will comp you at any other mLife valet parking.

Are you eligible for a handicapped placard? Would that even help?

i understand that vegas is huge and really doesnt need to charge for parking, at the same time its a business and the game is to maximize profit.

why is it that you are willing to go gamble hundred, even thousands and are worried about a small fee for parking...it really doesnt take much play to get a decent level card to get free parking, also not sure with vegas but places that do charge, with little play they waive it...dont see what the big deal is...

here we have never had a garage for self parking that didnt charge and valet also charges. unless you are diamond/7* or play for 30 minutes, guess what, the valet and garages are still always packed

I wonder how this will impact the Monorail... Will the Monorail finally get it's due? I know we are buying 5 day passes in january as we are staying at the Hilton Flamingo and the Monorail stop is in our parking lot.

It's funny because we would just randomly stop at Casino's and spend money. This won't happen much for us now. I know before we left last year we were driving up the strip, pulled in the Luxor to sight see and dropped a bit of money on the Titanic exhibit and food for a group of 4.

Why should anyone have to marry themselves to a casino to get a higher status to get a higher card to avoid fees? The same goes for getting their credit cards. We all should resent fees that serve no purpose other than to earn a CEO a bigger bonus. The difference between spending money on fees and gambling is one is enjoyable. Because of the minutiae around paying for parking and valet, they are wasting both my time and money. Screw the strip.

The answer is "you don't". You have apparently made your decision and that's your right . . .

Casinos are a business, and IMHO, have the right to make as much money any way they can. It is our decision as customers to patronize or not.

I visit several casinos in a day I also sometimes visit one just for their buffet. If this is a 24 hour pass then it isn't a big issue but if its each casino I would be spending about $120.00 a day and that's ridiculous! I will probably then visit the local casinos and say the hell with the greed on the strip!

    Easy answer.

All casinos just charge for parking. No reason to give higher tier player a break.

    Everyone pays for parking.

    There. Done.
