Golf @ Wynn?

Anybody done it or at least know how expensive it is to golf there?

I heard they were planning on ripping it out. We golfed at Desert Pines GC the day of my wedding. Great time and a nice course. Would love to play this one sometime...

 

$500 a round includes clubs and shoe rental if needed. Same if not and you must have a caddy with you on the course.

 

That's what I thought. Thanks for the info. Do they force you into a foursome as well, if you were by yourself or had a twosome?

 

Something tells me they aren't so busy that you will be paired up

 

Play all three at Paiute for the same price!

 

AND Desert Pines on the way back to your casino!

 

Having a 2.5 year old and a 6 month old has cut into my golf time, plus running my own business I haven't played three rounds in a year let alone in one trip or a day!!! But I will take a look.

Go play Wynn before it closes. You can play by yourself if you want. I love rolling out of bed and walking downstairs to play golf. Very easy and saves lots of time. 500 bones and yes you must have a caddy. Minimum tip is 50 ish.. There avg tip is 75. That's a fact. Have fun!

 

For a non-roller (non-comp player), Wynn is a waste of $$$.

 

Buddy and I played it and loved it. Yes the price is steep but it's right there so no transportation problems. Course is not tough either. Save travel time over driving to Mesquite.

 

no you can play solo or how many is in your party. They will not force you into another group or players

 

I had the opportunity to be in Vegas for the closing of the Desert Inn and its golf course. It was 75 $ and as a single I had to join whomever was in less than 4. It was a 1:20 pm tee time and there was no guarantee we would finish in light. I butt-f**ked around and didn't do it for some reason unknown to man. To this day I wish I had. My choice was looking at carrying clubs (left-handed) and (pre Uber days you young whippersnappers) and lugging them down that way without the f'n cabbie. I just didn't think it through.
IF the Wynn is closing and they have a price which is within your threshold, go for it. Once gone it is gone; but whatever be happy. My situation is not so much for the price but the "inconvenience"; if I weren't so quick I would kick my ass; but that is the way it goes.

 

If you're one for the "experience", then by all means do it, but like others have said, it'll probably be around $600 ($500 for the course and $100 for the caddy). Personally, I wouldn't do it, because I don't want all the people in the Country Club restaurant seeing me get a quadruple bogey.

 

Or me trying to make a put and it missing and me going something along the lines of "you dirty #####"
