mr.&mrs. vegas 10 days of vegas fun.

First post been reading TR for a while though i would try one on are last trip. nov 16-26. been going to vegas since 1988. first stay was the Landmark Casino and i was hooked. Nov16 left SWMN at 5:00PM drove to Witchita to pickup BIL&SIL left there at midnight got to vegas about 5:00pm Nov 17.Got a room at the Eastside Cannery $89.00 got a $25.00 beverage comp with the room. Very nice rooms really liked them. Ate at Snaps Grill steak and eggs really good.Wife played bingo she did not win I put 100 in fortune 88s and won 551.00. BIL&SIL lost some on slots.I would stay at ESC again great value.Fri nov 18 moved down to the EL CORTEZ for 3 comp nights and 50.00 FP&50.00Food&beverage credit each.First we headed to Jerrys Nugget sports book to put in football bets for the weekend and eat at Jerrys coffee shop 15.00 food comp had steak and eggs wife had pancakes it was good.While i put in my sports bets mrs.vegas played VP no luck.Checked into the ELCO at 2:00 spent the rest of the day playing slots there lost 300.00 between me &mrs.vegas BIL&SIL no luck etheir. Ate at Pizza Lotto had 5.00 off &free drink coupon it was ok i would not eat there again Pizza Rock rules. In the evening walked down fremont st played slots at GG each lost 100 there went back to the ELCO called it a night. sat nov 19 got up and ate at siegals for breakfast had breakfast sand which wife had eggs food was good.Drove to JN to collect fri football bets up 285.00,played bingo i won 200.00 wife did not, played are free play on slots $20.00 won$60.00 also had 10.00match bet & free bet play it on black jack with the wife we ended up 50.00 combined watched MN@WIS football game in sports book,ate at uncle angelos for supper had the chicken wings & zappolitis they were great have them every time were in vegas left JN went to fremont st. played some slots at 4Q monkeys slot lost 100.00 then we found the monty pyphon machines and each droped another 100.00. sun nov 20 went down to the Palms to hooters to watch KC football Game 50% coupon LVA was used on food and drinks chilly cheese fries wing s they were good wife and SIL used other coupons for palms and ended up 80.00 for the afternoon,we then headed down to Ellis Island to use the 3 free rounds for 2 people BIL&I got half a bag on and he won 257.00 on panda slot.We all had steak special for supper at EI it was good.Drove to JN to collect winning bet for the day up 386.00 headed back to ELCO wife played VP no wins I won 180.00 on sons of anarchy slot wife lost 100.00.Mon nov 21 took BIL&SIL to airport to fly home ate at siegels before they left food was good. after the airport we went to the palms and collected 25.00FP and the wife turned into 30.00 and then lost 10.00 MP on roulette, went to bellagio and ate the buffet wife had passes from some game she plays it was ok i would not stand in that line again it was not that good we then checked into the cosmopolitian 59th floor strip view very nice room very well trained staff we payed 130.00 a night plus RF, played flintstone slot won 186.00 headed to JN for MNF watched the game wife played VP lost 20.00 and BJ won 80.00 i collected 866.00 on sports bets for the day, then we went to the Rampart casino for 10.00 FP wife won 30.00 on it i played roulette and won 80.00,drove over to the suncoast played craps and lost 50.00 went to the dupars their and had banna cream pie it was very good. On the way back we drove by the LUCKY DRAGON and realised it was open stopped in i lost 100.00 on baccarat mrs.vegas won 20.00 on pia gow this is a very nice casino no craps and not a lot of slots but very well done and a great staff no problem getting drinks then we headed back to the cosmo and tryed the verbena it was ok kindof stange tasting if you get a chance try one it was a worth while time,went to secert pizza it was good wife played VP i went to room and worked on sports bettting.Tues nov 22 ate wicked spoon very good would eat it again,headed out for the day on a coupon run/chip collecting shout to mike O on the chip collecting we now collect chips from every casino we play at we started out at the Sunset Station lost 50.00 on craps, JOKERS WILD lost 20.00 on .10 roulette,LONG HORN lost 100.00 on BJ, lost 20.00 on BJ at SAMS TOWN but won 80.00 on a flintstone slot.Ate at DER WIENERSCHINZTEL it was ok,WILD WILD WEST lost 40.00 BJ,TROPICANA won 40.00 craps,HOOTERS won 40.00 BJ,PLACE STATION won 50.00 craps&40.00 on elvira slot,CIRCUS CIRCUS lost 20.00 craps&20.00 on orange is the new black slot,Stratosphere lost 20.00 on BJ&won 30.00 on fortune 88 slot,sls lost 20.00 on craps&100.00 on rock around the clock slot called it a night and return to the cosmo.WED NOV 23 mrs.vegas spa day at the M casino checked out of cosmo& dropped her off at the M at 10:30 am headed to JN to place bets for comming weekend had a slice at uncle angelos it was good would eat there pizza again,after placing bets turned in the last of the weekend bets&hit a 8 team Parley @180to 1 with the other bets up another 2541.00 then i checked us into the DOWNTOWN GRAND for 2 comped days and 30.00 FP&20.00 food comp wife called picked her up at the M went back to DTG and play slots &vp the rest of the day wife lost 100.00on VP&slots i won 270.00 on one of the skill based games based on the old centapid game i am not good at centapid anymore but after just taking free games instead of challenge i started winning. Sister called at 11:00 pm she was at airport went and picked her up dropped her off at MANDELY BAY won 30.00 on roulette getting my chip went back to DTG ate at Freedom Beat had burger and fries it was good.Thurs Nov 24 played slots in the morning wife won 40.00 on VP i won 128.00 on centapide slot, Went to the M for dinner at the vig deli had a beer and pastromi on rye excellent wife had chili cheese fries not so good. we played are free play 20.00 and dropped 100.00 more,sister called she was ready we picked her up took her to fremont street her and her BF tried the slotzilla they loved it. they played slots the rest of the afternoon we just watched i had made reservations at the ITALIAN AMERICAN SOCIAL CLUB for supper great meal,great place,great atmosphere,highly recommend best italian food i ever had a band playing lightly in the back round sinatra type singer 4 people 238.00 bill not bad. This place was like stepping back into the 1960s,went to JN sis&BF played roulette wife &i watched.Fri Nov 25 picked up sis&bf and went to FORTE for lunch would highly recommend this place also great food not over priced not overly busy, after lunch went and checked into the CANNERY for 1 comped night and $5.00 fp each.we played bingo in the afternoon nobody won in our group watch sis&bf play roulette after bingo then went to GOLDEN TIKI for drinks it was a fun place strong drinks, had 7:00 reservations at LAWERYS prime rib was excellent cream corn was to die for good,great meal highly recommend,went to tuscany after supper won 40.00 craps,dropped off sis&bf at MB,went back to Cannery together wife and i lost 20.00 slots called it a day.Sat Nov 26 checked out of Cannery drove to JN put in the last sports bets and used our comps for breakfast and 2 eclairs to go from the coffee shop good food again,left LasVegas at 10:30am got to Sterling Col at midnight left at 9:00am got back to SWMN at 5:00pm on sun nov27. In 30 trips this was only the 2nd time we finshed up. it was about 1500.00 we pay cash from the time we leave till we get home,last of the sports bets won 987.00 to be mailed in so it ended up just shy of 2500.00 hope you like the TR thanks mr.vegas.

Glad someone else appreciates the war zone called Jerry's Nugget, everyone should experience this place at least once. I found the waitstaff very friendly/efficient and one usually gets a lot of play for their money on the VP and slot machines....at least I did

 

you are right 93 octane very good staff food is always good and cheap and the odds for parleys are higher and that is why i do most of my sports betting at jerrys nugget also bingo is petty good not good craps odds tho.
