Heading out next weekend, I loaded the app and have the $65 promo loaded for the free ride from the airport. so 2 questions are the cars nice or should I stick with the basic ride, second coming from Jet Blue where is the pickup point in reference to the cab line? Thanks Mike

If $65 is only for one ride. Might as well use it for select. If you can split the $65 use for several rides of uberx

    1. Meet your driver at the pick-up point

Each terminal has a dedicated pick-up point for Uber requests.
      • In Terminal 1, head to 'T1 Parking' and take the elevator up to Level 2M
      • In Terminal 3, head to 'T3 Parking' and take the elevator down to theValet Level (V)

Arrived in Vegas on 11/24 and used the AMEX Uber offer to go to Paris. Picked "Uber Select". Took about 3 minutes for car to arrive. Nice new BMW, I think the 3? Trunk not very big, but held two 25" suitcases, put our carry on in the front seat. Nice vehicle. Was about $26, but with AMEX offer was $0. No issue at all with the AMEX offer, did not have to do anything special, other than have AMEX as form of payment.

#1...26.00 from airport to Paris seems like an awful lot for Uber and almost too much even for a cab.
#2...Good to know that it's that simple. The instructions for the promo sounded a little tedious having to enter special codes, etc.
    Thanks for your input.

Uber Select is one notch up (nicer cars) than the low end UberX so it costs more. IMO the UberX cars are nicer than a cab, so unless I'm trying to impress I go that route.

I guess if the ride is going to be free from the airport, why not go all in for the highest car class that Uber offers. I'm going with that plan in a couple of weeks with this in mind.

Thanks for the info. I have never used Uber as of yet, so you just open the app, pick select and that's it. Cool beans

Yep. App is simple. just use select. With that much to use I would stop for supplies and whatever else you need to do.

Why not book several Ubers and have a motorcade from the airport to your hotel. 65.00 could cover at least 4, right? Hey, arrive "like a Boss"!

I just got an e-mail from Amex regarding the promo with Uber. The offer is now two airport rides with 65.00 values per ride from select airports.

Has anyone had the Uber driver stop en route to pick up supplies? I wonder if they would b willing to do this?

Yes. drivers will stop. Just for a quick stop, but not a shopping trip to Walmart.

If you have the driver stop, make sure you tip well. They are not making money while they sit and wait.
