My Teen Boys waited to hear...they watched the live announcement...I kinda like it...although I would have preferred VEGAS KNIGHTS without the golden. Other favourite of mine was the Vegas Aces. Husband likes "Vegas Showgirls" lol

I was in the Toshiba plaza outside the t Mobile arena at 6pm tonight but had to leave before the actual announcement of the team name. Had to catch the 7pm human nature show at the venetian. Stuck around long enough to hear the crowd boo Gary bettman, lol.

I hope theres a merchandise stand or store open tomorrow. They had team gear excluding jerseys available after the announcement but I couldn't stick around.
The crowd seemed 50/50 in terms of locals vs tourists but quite a bit of support none the less. My lyft driver was really excited about the team. Seems to be off to a good start. Easily a couple thousand people in the crowd.

Really nice theres an outdoor skating rink in the plaza. Lots of kids on the ice tonight but not sure if that was a temporary rink or not.

If anyone knows where to buy team merchandise on the strip, please let me know I've got 1 more.night in town.

So many good gambling names- it's a shame. Following the desert theme, the Unmarked Graves finished second but was disqualified because a Cleveland football team had called dibs.

I think the team name Vegas Golden Nuggets is brilliant.

    I mean Knights.

I would have preferred the Vegas Royal Flushers, though.

Actually, I think you will be able to do so. The NHL doesn't seem to be too concerned about the gambling aspect and Nevada changed the law several years back to allow action in the state to be booked (UNLV games are regularly on the board now). I look forward to placing a futures bet on the Golden Knights to win the Stanley Cup next year!

Ordered a hat and tee shirt today from nhl.com.

Not crazy about the name or the logo but, for my new favourite team, had to do it!

Meh on the name and logo. A little close to the UCF Knights.

Team store at the mobile arena have quite a few golf shirts, hoodies and the shirts. Cheapest t shirt was 22 dollars and says vegas golden knights. I actually wished I bought a different one with just the helmet logo. Bit less in your face Vegas and could wear it anywhere. Oh well. Hope there's a stand or store selling it at the airport today.
