The center bar looks very nice. I'd like to know what the video poker tables are like? Not worth the schlep all the way down there if they're as crappy as everywhere else on/near the Strip.

VPFree2 reports 30/8/5 Bonus (98.48%), and 9/5 JoB (98.45%) for quarters+ at the bar. Not too bad for bartops. Info on other games would be appreciated if anyone else visits via my sticky thread or via PM. I'd assume DDB is probably 9/5 (97.87%).

I saw on Vital vegas's twitter, he was playing 9/6/4 db looked like the bar from reflection..Sneaky.

He also stated that signature cocktails $14 and under are comped. That's good.

Yeah I tried to peek on Untappd for paytables too, but too blurry so far. :( 9/6/4 DB is shit (96.38%); now I'm worried DDB is 8/5 (96.79%), not 9/5 like I initially guessed. Did he fall under the "high full house/flush payout = good game" trap for double bonus???

Thread now split from the BJ rule thread.

I was wondering where my post went! Ha on tapatalk it this didn't show in my subscribed threads.

On twitter I constantly point out the shitty DB plays he makes playing the 4 for 1 straight flush version. He must not care, and likes DB?

In VV's first visit there the glare from the lights made everything too difficult to see. I will be going there in Jan I will do a full report in the bartop thread. (unless someone beats me to it!)

9/5 JoB (98.45%) isn't terrible if you don't want to pay for your beer/mixed drink.

Here is the full bartop game list, but the top two are the most noteworthy. Thanks @wanker751 !

    Bonus Poker 30/8/5 (98.48%)
    Jacks or Better 9/5 (98.45%)
    Bonus Deluxe 8/5 (97.40%)
    Double Double Bonus 8/5 (96.79%)
    Double Bonus 9/6/4 (96.38%)
    Deuces Bonus 12/4/3/2 (96.22%)
    Deuces Wild 20/10/8/4/4/3 (95.96%)

On second thought, maybe I'll drop a C note in the bartops, since I don't usually rule out 98%+ games. I just think that, no matter how nice the joint is, they have a location problem. They should at least start off with FP jacks, to get new clientele. Adjust later.

The Lucky Dragon is aimed at the Asian gambler, so location may not be an issue as they are heavily marketing to that clientelle. I think that if they can't lure that heavy-duty Asian player, they have failed despite wherever they are located.

Also do a lot of Chinese play video poker (I am asking because I do not know)? IMO, the video poker is a courtesy for the other demographics that wander in there.

Whenever I play the casinos with the better paytables, I can certainly affirm the Asians are well-represented. Some are those folks I've seen on most every trip, so they probably live there. So I know they are pretty noticeable at the baccarat and pai gow tables, but they know their VP, as well.

Asians generally play VP less in my experience vs. slots and tables. But I think they made a bigger faux pas by not offering any Craps. Craps is a good action game.

Unfortunately I think it's location and size has this place doomed from the start. They aren't going to get any Asian high rollers. Strip casinos already bend over backwards for them.
