Any Idea Why a host at Red Rocks sent me this offer?

I received an email offer from a host at Red Rocks offering me three free nights VIP check in, booked into an event and airport transportation. The thing is I've never been to Red Rocks, the only Stations casino I even remember going to is Green Valley Ranch, it was probably 5 years ago for the buffet (It was OK, I'll probably pass on it the future) played next to nothing, may have gotten a players card but did not give them my current email. I also don't have a host anywhere, I may play $10K coin in at $.25-$1.00 VP over a 2 day trip if the cards are relatively nice to me maybe 2-3 trips a year usually at Boyds or CET property, not always Las Vegas, in fact haven't been in 2016. Any Ideas on how the host got my email and would want to waste his time with a player like me? Maybe just a marketing offer email that looks like it's from a host like CET likes to do? He is listed as a host on vpfree.

Are you a member of any services like URcomped or something? I've had random hosts reach out to me from properties that I have never visited before. But only if they are linked to a club where I have given them some action. I cant see how they would have found your email randomly, unless they had your info from someplace that they used to work at, and they are now in full poaching mode!

I'm not a member of any services, I had to google URcomped. It would have had to come from another casino, maybe Suncoast, I like it for one night trips sometimes. I think I might just email him and ask, also see what kind of play he expects.

Have you had any play at the Palms in the last couple of years? Since Station now owns them, maybe their computer spit out a list of prospects.

I've been to the Palms a few times but never gave them ant real play to speak of, I've never received a better offer than like a $30 weekday room.

Have you ever had comp offers before or had your stay comped anywhere? I don't know for sure but maybe a host from one of the places you received comps from moved to Red Rock and he brought along a list he compiled of people who receive comps (though not necessarily the players he was a host for).

That is about the only way I would think a host would send you something without you doing anything. Maybe he saw that you were receiving a lot of comps or VIP services and tried to "grab" you away from those hotels to try Red Rock.

I don't know how he got your name, but I'd take him up on the offer - Red Rock is a great casino!

I've only had limited play at Stations casinos but have gotten 3 night comp offers from both GVR and Red Rock. And GVR gave me $75 in free slot play. With that being said I didn't play to much on both comp offers as I usually spread my play all over town. This was almost 2 years ago and I haven't heard from either casino. When Borgata opened in AC I got the players club card and played for a few minutes, think I lost $20. Got an offer for one free night Sun-Thurs. after I took them up on the offer and didn't gamble much since I wasn't in the mood, never heard from them again either.

    Hosts move around.
They're not supposed to take their contact list or anything else but it happens.
