This is my third trip to Vegas. We will be staying at Palazzo. I always stay at the Encore. I love the Encore!!! I booked Palazzo for a change. I have been reading the Palazzo rooms are a little run down. Am I going to regret this? Anyone have any suggestions on how to make my Palazzo stay comfortable?;)

We did the exact same thing last Memorial Day. We are hardcore Encore fans, but we were curious about the Palazzo because we love the casino. We had a "strip" view which really afforded little view of the strip. The room had very little natural light which made the room very dark even with the lights on. The room overlooked the pool which for us was nothing special.

I wish our experience was better and I could offer a more upbeat appraisal.

Hope your experience is better...have a great trip!

I believe they have started renovating Palazzo rooms. I think in September it began but I may be wrong. I'd ask if the renovations have been completed in any of the rooms and request one if so. I would think some should be done by now if they started. I love staying there and don't mind the rooms at all. I get a great view of the mountains and usually Treasure Island but it's because of where it was built. You aren't going to get the view you get at Cosmo. Lol

I enjoy the Palazzo . Never had an issue with having a nice room. For me the it's the staff and customer service that make a place. we've had nothing but the best while staying at the Palazzo.

What ^^^ he said. Palazzo is a great resort. We've never found the rooms to be dark at all.

    Dark? Thats crazy talk! lol

Its NICE there. I've stayed there Many many times since its opened.

We had Thanksgiving there few years ago. Yes, its usually VERY busy.

We ended up eating at Grand Luxe, because I have Gold card & were able to be seated in a decent amount of time.

I'll never forget it because of the whole family, I'm the ONLY one to order Turkey for dinner.
Everyone else ordered something totally different.......
I just remember that, thought it was pretty funny.

Anyway, you will have a Nice time, great rooms, remote control curtains, lovely views.

Just be alittle Flexible when & where you want to eat at Thanksgiving.
    Its crowded everywhere.

    Enjoy!

Its a different vibe than the Encore, but a better one in my opinion. I like the high ceilings of the casino. They have a pretty good VIP lounge open late. The food choices are great and if you miss the Wynncore you can cross the bridge and be right there in less than 10 minutes. You will enjoy the Palazzo for thanksgiving! The V/P is one of the best on the strip.

I like both. Palazzo Suites are much different like Encore, but very nice, too. Palazzo is closer to the Strip, the Casino is much nicer than Encore. I would try it. (Palazzo I prefer the mountain view at higher floor!)
