When I was playing slots yesterday and in the middle of a "LOOK UP!" bonus moment, a guy passing by asked me for a cigarette and then also for a light. Don't spoil my moment and get out of my bubble! I stupidly gave him one too (I was just taken by surprise). By the time I watched my machine again, the bonus round was over.

The most annoying thing though this trip, are the cleaning ladies, yelling their life story (at least I assume, as they're "speaking" Spanish) to each other at 8:30 in the morning (every morning!) right outside my door. Do they even realise they are working in a hotel and people are paying to sleep there?! From guests you can expect it (but also annoying!), but from personnel?!

And some things that annoy me, but were already mentioned:

The BJ player who blames another player's decision for his losing hand. So ignorant! And what a sore loser.

Or when you just lost a hand on any table game, someone telling you how you should have played it. Really? And you think that makes me feel better?

People sitting at the next slot machine, not playing and commenting on my game, or trying to make conversation. I'm usually quite sociable, but not when I'm having an intimate moment with Michael Jackson or Willy Wonka. Go play yourself or hit a bar or something!

On the flip-side of the above though: people who are making a whole theater of their game; yelling, chanting, praying, singing halleluja and jumping up and down, and then getting annoyed when you watch what's going on. Hey, you're the one begging for attention, so don't act all insulted when you get some!

Id give you a high five if I saw you having a winning moment and im walkin by.
I disagree w the cleaning ladies. They have a tough job and I believe they need to speak to each other loud to get messages across. I always bring a set of ear plugs.
    But the rest ..spot on.
I remember one chick seat after me in stud poker (always a game where people blame others for catching cards) blaming me for catching her cards real loudly. I just looked at the dealer and smiled. Let her vent im fine. But yeah. Sadness. If you cant play without blaming yourself for losing at gambling then you shouldn't be here gambling.

I'd high five you back. And then ask if you have some money for me. Lol, only kidding! :peace:

I agree the cleaning ladies have a tough job, but they are just standing next to each other chatting and laughing really loud. I think it's not professional.

    * the porncards people across the sidewalks trying to slip you those silly cards
*some streetperformers or beggars who just are ridiculous
    * the "party girls"who harass you if you are walking back to your hotel at 4 am,or who harras you when you are attending a nightclub (not attending nightclubs anymore as im too old for that shit) and if a lady approaches me i am just telling her im a priest(not far from the truth as im living like one:angel:)
    * people who are obknockious drunk
    * people who block walkpaths or who are rude for example at elevators

    * soar loosers who are getting pissed at the dealer or who are abusive :soapbox: towards them(dont gamble than geez you can loose!!!)
    * the smoking especially some people who are rude and blow smoke in your face(when you are a non smoker)

for the rest you gotto love this city with all the gambling/shows/pools/restaurants/bars....i miss my 2nd hometown:cry:

My local casino has two video poker machines that I like to play. They are next to each other.

A lady was sitting at one machine and was leaning over playing the other machine?

    Do I say something?

The people at checking in ---
who think they can use the "Check-In Clerk" as a concierge.
    I travel ALL DAY....exhausted, but excited !.......I'm 12 feet away from getting my room ( finally ! ) ---
and you are holding up the line asking the check -in clerk, about Show tickets + restaurants, transportation, etc !!!!!
    It happens TOO OFTEN !

Slot machines that are too complicated.

I would rather stick to the old style in the higher denominations but get suckered in to some of the newer ones. It used to be straight forward 3 symbols and a bonus round. Now there are features on some spins, 7 different bonuses, expanding symbols, etc. I didn't even realize how complicated they are until someone asked me how to play one. As I started giving him this 5 page dissertation I felt like I was telling him how to build a nuclear bomb.

Yes, I think I'm pretty smart, but some of those machines just baffle me. I don't know what's happening most of the time. That's why I stick to VP and Lobstermania, if I go near slots at all. You folks don't have to worry about me bothering you in the slot area, because they really don't interest me.

What annoys me most are unnecessary comments on spellcheck and grammar and sentence structure on an otherwise friendly Vegas message board.

St. Peter was standing at the Pearly Gates watching an assistant check in new arrivals. The assistant had a roster and was calling out names as the spirits lined up.
"James Robertson," he read off, and a fellow said, "I'm him."
Then he read "William Bumgarner," and another fellow said, "That's me."
Then he read, "Gladys Humphreys," and a woman answered, "I am she."
St. Peter leaned over and whispered to his assistant, "Another damn schoolteacher."
