One thing that gets on my nerve is when I win (betting minimum) and let a little yay out, dude besides me bends to check out my win, and says: "Should have bet more". A**.

I agree with the table coaches. For gawd's sake if your girlfriend/boyfriend/anyfriend doesn't know how to play craps/BJ/poker take one of the free lessons! Or at least step out of earshot of the real players!

Yes or when I play pai gow [I never play bonus] and I get a flush and someone says you should have bet bonus or dealer taps the circle... I explain it never bet it if it continues....

I then make it a,point on every losing bonus hand to point out good thing I didn't bet bonus

After a day of Casino hopping sitting down in a restaurant is the best time to get caught up on text messages, emails & phone messages while waiting on my meal.

Disagree with this 100%, all of us were new to a game at some point and had to learn somehow...the free lessons are not always the answer. I learned how to play craps from a stranger while he was playing and overheard me and my friend talking about always wanting to learn how to play. He took time to explain it to us and got us hooked.

"Real players"? Good Lord is it that much of a hardship to you...Mr. Real Player?

So sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone. Perhaps I should have said "more experienced". Although I believe the tread is what annoys you and that in & of itself implies asking an opinion.

"Did you get the kicker?" You're celebrating two hundred dollars worth of Aces and some random guy at the bar has to ask this. My brothers and I used to play this game on each other. When I played Double Bonus exclusively I had to scream "There is no kicker!"

The worst annoyance is to not be able to sleep in your room due to Club noise, or due to a party in the next room. It can happen. :grrr:

Forgot about that. On our last stay at MGM we requested and got a room change. The girls next door talked by yelling at each other. At 2 am-4am (or so) I guess they were catching up. They weren't partying and they weren't angry. The entire gaggle all talked at the same time. They left at after a couple of hours and came back around 6 am. And they started again. We got dressed and headed straight for the desk and asked for a non connecting room.

    - Screaming teenybopper girl "singer" overhead music, in an otherwise very good casino
    - Long buffet lines
    - Restaurants with tables set too close together
    - Slippery bathtubs
    - the Blockin' The Aisle family
    - Finding that my favorite machine has been removed from the floor

    I told this before.

Walking across the bridge between NYNY and MGM. In the middle of the bridge is blonde Daddy, blonde Mommy and 5 blonde kiddies. They had to be German or Nordic. They are taking pics and looking at the sights.

Just at the exact moment I am going by, Daddy suddenly points and his finger hits me right in the side of my face, about 1" from my left eye.

I yelled at him, "DUUDE, YOU ALMOST PUT MY EYE OUT!!!

He looked at me for a brief second and went right back to pointing and yapping.

I glared at him for a bit to no avail. There was nothing I could do, so I just walked away, very pissed off.

I was guilty of this in the Book at the Mirage a couple trips ago. I was watching the last couple plays of the last leg of my parlay next to the horse players, it also happens to be my alma mater. Was sort of pacing and muttering I guess, but not in anybody's way and my team won. I let out a healthy "woo hoo" and a fist pump, pretty excited, more for the victory of my college team than the money.

Old guy looks up, curiously asked how much I won.......I suppose he was thinking I had won a boatload of cash......I said a hundred and twenty bucks, grinning like a madman. His response was " first time in Vegas huh ? "

That's different than what I was trying to describe. I'm talking the difference between actual exuberation (you - emotion) and acting. Putting on a show.

Actually what is annoying me now is airline prices. I am tracking prices for my beginning of January CES trip. I guess since it is the first week of the year Hawaiian air is keeping their prices high, between $700 and up, even close to $1000 for the flights right before the CES. I am checking out the number of available seats and there are still lots of seats open (like 70 - 80 seats open) but they still don't drop the friggin prices. I think they are keeping the prices high because they are expecting the vacationers going home from Hawaii and the kids going back to mainland schools to scoop up the seats.

It is all a game with them (airlines), they keep the prices high because they think/know that people will pay the higher rates. If not then they will drop prices for 1 day until they sell enough seats and then raise the rates back up again. I hate this crap, all to make more of a buck off of passengers.

Right now is supposed to be the best time to buy tickers since it is about 49 days out but so far the prices haven't dropped. Funny because the past 2 weeks they only sold 4 seats for the flight I wanted; I guess everyone is trying to hold out for the price drop while the airlines is holding out hoping/expecting people to pay the higher prices.

Too bad, if I travelled a week later the prices were $200 lower, in the low $500's.

    What a stinkin game.

Perhaps im also guilty of having too much fun at the table and over the top celebration. Most of the times I or we didnt win anything big at all... but just sometimes through our convos and jokes at the table , the cards come out sort of like a punch line to a running joke or soemthing we were talking about so at times we would burst out in laughter and yelp or holler celebrate (usually not me but someone else next to me lol) and it is just that ..trying to have fun.
If we're annoying to some then I apologize that it may happen again.
