Been 7 Stars for about a year or so, not going to make it again by January. My main casino is Cherokee NC. I have gotten rooms at the casino all year (maybe every couple months for the weekend.) My play has been down considerably the last few trips. I called to get a room for December and was told that they could only comp off property due to my play recently.

I was under the impression once you reached 7 stars you were guaranteed a room at the casino with 48 hours notice? I mean I definitely EARNED it lol

anyone else ran in to this?

I did just recently have my host changed, could this be the issue?

I just assumed being 7 Stars it was earned. I realize they want a continued level of play but still...

    thanks for any help

I play at Cherokee also. My understanding is that due to the limited amount of rooms and high demand, 7 Stars does not guarantee a room. Comp rooms are based on play. If your play has been lower that could be why.

Have you tried booking through the website instead of calling? I was able to book for December (Christmas weekend) through the website. My host recently changed also. I haven't met my new host yet so I just booked through the website. I am not 7 Star but have a relatively high ADT.

a room is only guaranteed for a 7* with 48 hours notice in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, they changed it up earlier this year but didnt really anounce it

I have been 7 star for about 4-5 years and a couple of years ago during the summer - I called about 3 months before we wanted to go and talked to a host about getting a room and he said that the didn't have any available. He said they had more 7 stars than any other property and there just wasn't enough rooms. (We have never been there and I guess if we want to go we will have to do our 7 star trip there)

Room availability is the key here. We are both Diamond (I am Diamond Aspiration) Our home casino is Cherokee. They are more Seven Stars and Diamond players at Cherokee than I have ever seen anywhere else. Back around the first of the year, we had three week nights booked ( I hate being there on the weekends,to busy) They had over booked the rooms and offered us $300.00 free play($200.00 for me, $100.00 for wife) to move off property our last night Of course we accepted :) Valley River didn't effect Cherokee any ether.

Even if they had the 48 hr does not mean it is comped, just available

Reaching 7 stars does not mean you keep getting comps

They are tied to play, not tier
    ALWAYS on play

You should definitely try the website, I can get a couple weekends in Dec and every weekend in Jan and Feb comped in a Creek Tower Deluxe room. I've never been to Cherokee, I'm currently gold and haven't even gambled at a CET property in 2016, and have never even made it to diamond.

I recently made a trip to Cherokee. Checking the website, I got nothing. Sold Out. Emailing the host got me a room.

All tied to dates, supply and demand, and play.
