    My Trip Report

We are currently in the car driving to the airport (husband is driving). We fly out of Seattle at 8:10 tonight . We left way earlier than necessary but the kids and cat and house were all settled and we were ready to jump start our trip! So once we get to the airport and through security we can just relax and get dinner or drinks and really get into vacation mode.

This trip is kind of a mental getaway for me. I was my dads caregiver for the past few years as he fought cancer and underwent two stem cell transplants and so so so much chemo. Sadly, we lost him in July. Not even from the cancer but a complication from treatment (graft vs host) and I've been really having a hard
time and struggling with the loss and we hoped maybe a vacation would be good for me. We did sneak away for a few days last February, and while I had a good time I wasn't really fully present as I was worried about my dad at home.

So this trip I can (try to) relax and have fun and know everything at home is being handled. We are staying at The Cosmo and have a Terrace Suite for 4 nights. We are going to see Criss Angels newer show and have dinner reservations before on Saturday but other than that it's just us winging it and doing what we want when we want.

We are slot players - so I hope to have lots
Of slot porn to share. If our bankroll gets padded by winnings I may get a tattoo I've been wanting in my dads honor (small on my wrist) if not I still plan to get it when back at home.

I'm wanting to try some new cocktails while there, I like sweet and fruity things. I generally drink cosmos and lemon drops.

I've got a good amount of free play coming to me so I'm trying to decide if I want to play it first or save it for our last day.

This is my first time posting from my phone so I hope it works.

Sorry for your loss. My wife lost her father just six days ago, so we share your feelings. Best of luck to you, and may you win enough to get multiple tats.

Know he'll be there, helping you get those hand pays. My husband was on my first trip after he passed.

Sorry to hear. Lost my father last September too.
Enjoy the Cosmo, ask for fountain view if you don't already have it and I would either take a shot with your freeplay and/or use it first to keep your bankroll in you pocket as long as possible

We arrived to SeaTac airport with plenty of time to spare. Checking our bags with southwest took about 8 minutes, then security took only about 3 more. We hadn't eaten much so we grabbed an early dinner and a couple drinks at a little place inside the airport. Now we are sitting at our gate with about 2 hours to spare before boarding. We are way earlier than we would normally arrive, but that's ok.

    Vegas here we come!

35 minutes to go until boarding time. While I hate Southwests boarding system, I'm glad I was able to get an A boarding pass. Hopefully I can get something towards the front so I can get off sooner in Vegas!

Cosmos and Lemondrops are on me! (of course, you must be playing a machine in order for me to pick up your drinks, ok?)

Our flight was smooth and we landed in Vegas about 10 minutes early. We collected our bags and headed to the ride share area in the parking garage to meet our Lyft driver. It took close to 20 minutes for him to get us to the Cosmo from the airport but the ride was still only $9 after tip. (I had a $5 credit).

Checking in at Cosmo was a breeze we used the invited guests line which was great because even though it was 11pm the other line was super long. We got checked into our room and were told our resort fee was also complimentary so that's pretty awesome. Reminded about my $100 food credit and my $485 free play.

We went to our room (which is awesome) and settled in then went down to play. The players club was closed after midnight so I was unable to collect my freeplay last night. We played about 3 hours and I enjoyed 2 cosmos a lemon drop and a chocolate martini. We called it a night and relaxed on the terrace for awhile (perfect weather for us Washingtonians). Lost $450 last night in the time we played.

Now it's 11am and we just woke up and I'm still laying here in bed. About time to go get some lunch.

Our room. A terrace suite at the Cosmo. Both the dishwasher and washer and dryer (which I'd planned to maybe use) are locked. Do they not allow guests to use these anymore in the terrace suites?
